What's better than being cool? Ice Cold.

Out of amber beer, only Schwarz & Helles available. Place may fall under the overrated category. It's a solid about-what-to-expect. My 4th visit, will def return. Great atmosphere.

Eisgrub Bräu is a unique place worth visiting in Mainz. Just slightly off the main attractions in the ancient city center, this beer brewery provides a wonderful atmosphere to go with friends and find new ones, particularly during summer days. The beer tastes great - although Mainz certainly is a wine region. Finally the food also is very easy to... More

This brewery is amazing. I make it a point to visit every time i am in Mainz. The beer towers are the best. They also have a tray of beer i believe it comes with 12 beers for large groups. The restaurant brew Haus is right in the brewery which is pretty neat. You can see where they brew the... More

Was originally brought here by work friends. It's easily my favorite place for food and drinks in the wiesbaden/Mainz region. They brew great beer and the food is always solid.

Visited Mainz area several times for business trips. This is our favorite place to drop in for a drink and a light meal. If you catch it on a sunny afternoon, there is a great patio to sit on and watch the town go about its business. The atmosphere is great, it has a historic feel to it and a... More

Eisgrub Brau is the only local brewrey in Mainz. You can enjoy the beer and German food. I ordered the schwinehaxe (pork; shank of pig) which was too big to eat by alone. But I ate it all, taking long dinner time. The beer has sweet flavor and taste. It fitted to me. The staffs were very kind. You should visit... More

I visit this pub/brewery often and its one of my favourite places in Mainz germany. They have their own beer, either dark or light both served ice cold. The food is delicious and the pork knuckle is to die for. But beware if you are light eater then the portion sizes are quite big. The atmosphere is quite pub like... More

The menu is definitely average pub grub. My breakfast potatoes with onions and eggs were overlooked and greasy.y wife's schnitzel was better with a good pepper sauce. The only noteworthy item was the beer. Smooth and fresh. Next time will be a beer-only visit.
