Superb beer, probably the best I have ever tasted. Very atmospheric with good hearty German food and friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful to be able to see the beer being produced and consumed onsite.

Went on rainy night with friends on layover. nice crowd. nice atmosphere. had good dinner with large portions at fair price. was disappointed at short beer list: light and dark. lots of different sized beers but only 2 choices. Very friendly staff. ask to see the impressive banquet rooms in the basement. will come back in future.

The food is typical German 'pub' food. The beer is ok, but they only had two of their beers on tap to try. Instead of pitchers of beer they have a 3 foot tall cylinder to hold you beer with a spigot at the bottom.

You are looking for a genuine place to celebrate, enjoy a drink, have a bite, or meet friends? This is the place to be. The beer is good, the food is delicious, the environment is great. It is fun being at the Eisgrub. You will enjoy it, too.

I have been here twice, the first time I thought it was amazing, but I had only choosen the schnitzel.. which was good... However I choose the Schweinhaxe the next time and I think its pretty bad....unless you like your meat very dry. This is how they make it, as per previous reviews here and I also asked them about... Been here a few times and its brilliant every time. Fantastic food and the beer is excellent. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home even if you are a foreigner. See you next time.

To be frank, mediocre food, loud noisy restaurant with kids running round tables disturbing others evening. Poor service! Don't try the desserts the oranges accompanying it tasted of onions. And the toilets were disgusting.

i went here a couple of times just to see if it improved. the food was a massive portion size but of average quality. the schnitzel & fried potatoes were swimming in oil. the beer, which is brewed on site is some of the worst beer i have ever tasted, and i have tasted a lot of beers and also... This brewery had a great atmosphere, friendly service and good beer, however I made the mistake of ordering the Schweinhaxe. I've lived in Germany for 2 years now, so I should have known better, but the portion was HUGE! And it didn't come with any sauce (just sauerkraut and a bit of bread) so once you got past the crackling... More
