Tasty food but very large portions!

We went to this restaurant twice.. First was a Friday night and it was bustling with a great atmosphere. Our waitress was great and very appreciative of our German speaking efforts. Food was very tasty, big portions and very reasonably priced. So because of this experience we went again on the... read more

We went to this restaurant twice.. First was a Friday night and it was bustling with a great atmosphere. Our waitress was great and very appreciative of our German speaking efforts. If you have time to fill before a train or while awaiting an arrival, you will find this corner site restaurant close to the main entrance hard to beat. Very good German food and drink and prompt service.

We had a wonderful meal in this restaurant, with portion verging on the the to big (but nice!). Very friendly waitress.

This is a restaurant near the train station and several city bus lines. It is normal to hear buses rushing by just a few feet from the outdoor dining. But don't let the noise get you down because the food is great. I had jager schnitzel and my wife had roasted salmon, including a bottle of wine for a total... More

We didn't order soup but it came and was home made and delicious. The bratwurst and leberkaser that followed were also delicious but we were defeated by the portions. We shared an apfelstrudle to show willing. With two drinks and one coffee lunch came to €29 which was a bargain. The service was very friendly and charming. Deservedly popular and... More

Having read some of the previous reviews, we took special note of this restaurant before setting off for Koblenz. It was well worth a visit as the food was really good and the staff very efficient and friendly. It is beside the railway station and also near the bus station, so it was easy to find. As previously mentioned, booking... More

This time the food was wonderful, again, but what was even better was the way we were treated by the staff. My not-entirely-fluent-but-getting-there German speaking daughter had the pain of interpreting her large family's whims and the waitress was obliging, supportive and funny. The quality 9 months on from my last review remained exceptional and I cannot think of anywhere... More

This was our favourite restaurant to sit outside and enjoy a stein of Irdinger or Dunkel each evening after a day at Nurburgring watching the F1. The friendly banter with Norbet (mein host) and his support for Vettel only made the experience more enjoyable. No need for a menu... Norbet would order the best meals and washed down with plenty... We went there based on high Tripadvisor rating and it did not disappoint. Being an American traveler, I have never found bad beer in Germany. So yes their wheat beer was very good as usual. We ordered a variety of schnitzel and fish (Salmon). Both were very good. Being a multi racial group of coworkers, we were clearly in the... More

Enjoyed a very pleasant mid-week evening at the Koenigsbacher Treff which is conveniently located near Koblenz Hauptbhanhof and perfect for an easy post-excursion meal. Although we arrived early, with almost no-one inside, we soon discovered that most of the inside tables had been reserved. Luckily, a friendly waitress found us the last remaining table for two. It seemed to be... More
