Casual with kitch

Lots of fascinating items about the restaurant. Casual atmosphere. English available on menu. Regular pub style food. We had speck pizza (think bacon bits), schnitzel, stroganoff, etc. the starters were popular with my group. The pasta with the stroganoff seemed homemade and was delicious.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday (early) evening at 18:20 on 11 July 2015. We had tickets for ‘Cats’ at the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress in Koblenz. So, I make a reservation a few days before at the Pegelhaus, but they didn’t want to honor their coupon in the Gutscheinbuch B-MY Koblenz 2015. So we decided to eat at Amalfi instead. I... More

Great location along the river and full view of the boats passing. As for the menu, large selection and goes across the board. It was good average food....their fries might be lacking but the rest of the choices were excellent.

We had dinner at Winzerstube restaurant after a day in Koblenz. The restaurant is on the Rhine, closed to Deutsches Eck. The interior was rustic, but nice. The waiter didn't speak english but the service was prompt. We ordered: entrée (soup and a “bruschetta” that appear more as a small pizza) and main dishes (wiener schnitzel and a steak) The... More

With some background - this is one of the bad restaurant experiences we had in Germany - but by far the worst, yet! First came the white wine - sour almost like vinegar, but at least well chilled. Then came the "Hungarian" Goulash - and it had nothing to do with the name: just some brown and salty water with... More

Our tour guide brought us to this restaurant to savour the famous German Knuckles. We had one each and honestly it looked quite nice on the plate, but to my disappointment, the meat was tasteless and the skin of the knuckle which was supposed to be crackling, was not crackling at all. In fact, it was quite tough. The soup... More

This was a very cozy restaurant in Koblenz. The food choices were broad and one could choose from typical German food to international dishes. I liked the fact that they had a menu in English. The staff was helpful with the choice of wine and dishes, even so their English was not that good. The house wine was tasty and... More

This is a nice place to try German food at the corner of the Mosel and the Rhein. The menu is huge and the staff very friendly. A translation in English is also available. We tried some XXL schnitzels for less than €16, this was definitively a large meal for hungry men! Finally, the interior of the restaurant was also... More

This was my favorite meal during our 22 day stay in Europe this Summer. Dined out on the patio, overlooking the Rhein river, while musicians played nearby. I had a meal with salmon, spinach, rice and shrimp, covered with a nice sauce. Plus a couple glasses of wine. It was absolutely delicious! Another one of us had a meal with... More
