This is a very big Brauhaus /pub restaurant, has a nice feel to it, warm and comforting. Service not the friendliest, but not poor either, Food came out very fast, portions is very big, Eisbein is good, unfortunately not the Grilled type, The Snitchel portion very large but overcooked and dry, the rest was really good. Very nice house Weiss... More

Very nice and warm location, carefully furnished. Well done traditional german dishes, with rich portions. I got a Gulasch suppe as a starter, very tasty and fuill of meat minces, then the classical pork shank (perfectly cooked, better than the same ones you get in the Duesseldorf downtown restaurants) with sauerkrauts and a fantastic strudel, all with 2 different locally-brewed... My South African sister in law had never been to Germany and requested a Schnitzel and a beer. We chose this restaurant and weren't dissappointed. The only thing was that there aren't many healthy options for kids. All deep fried stuff.

Besides a spectacular location, its decor is suitable for restaurant menu. The waiters are very attentive and fast, and the dishes are made quickly. In addition to German beer, their winery has a good selection of wines. The typical dishes are served in generous portions.

Great place for a few beers and a snack. Ordered some Pretzels and got the biggest plate of food you could imagine!! All for €5! And it was delicious. Beer good and service very friendly and welcoming even though we could not speak a word of German. Great place!!

Good beer, but the food is just average. Not so fancy. Simple food. Monday nights are not busy :) The staff was really nice and spoke good English.

Really liked the beer and pork knuckles. This place looks like a real Brauhaus from early 20th century. Prices are resonable, service is great
