A pub-restaurant with its own brewery cannot be a bad thing. The blond beer was fine, and not expensive. Simple, traditional German food at a reasonable price. Good atmosphere. It was not at all crowded when I arrived at 7:15 on a Tuesday evening.

Been there, done it, and would go again. Nice place, cosy settings, like what one could imagine from a traditional German pub; though this one looks more like a traditional Bavarian one. Usually crowded, despite of the size, it is recommended to make a reservation if one wants to be sure. The menu is somewhat different, limited, with (almost) daily... More

I recently returned from a week in Duisburg and ate at Webster's Brauhaus twice! It serves traditional German food and their own brew. The first night, I had a tapas selection that they were offering for Octoberfest. All items were very tasty. I had the Braun beer, quite good. The second time I went, I had the Schweinhaxe (roasted pork... More

I was in Duisburg for a work trip, we came to this well known place under suggestion of colleagues. The place is nice, it is a pub/restaurant. The food was very good, only take some time to get it because the place was full. I enjoyed the beer, really good. Nice place for the evening/night.

Having visited Duisburg for a sombre occasion, we were very pleased to find such a lovely place to eat. As they sussed we were English, an English speaking waitress tended to us with a translated menu. Food was tasty, fresh and good value. The home brewed beer slipped down nicely and topped off with a satisfying dessert. 12 minutes walk... More

I try the blonde beer and I like more the black beer. Home made , taste very good. Genuine interior and good german food. You can have the home made sausage by cm. or even 1 meter... Big portions, fresh cooked and nice served. Fair prices too. Not far away from the city center but, a little bit, not easy... More

The locally brewn Altbier comes much darker than most industrial beers with the same name and tastes much better. There is a large selection of food; you should make sure what it is that you order, some dishes are really high in calory and low in vitamin, but vegetarian options also exist. The place has a really great ambiance, being... More

Was here on a Thursday night. Not too busy. Had a very nice bratwurst and an excellent flamkuchen. Paid €29 for these two, two apple juices for my son and two good 'haus' beers. Atmosphere was good. Would come again.

We sat outside on the way to the football at Duisburg. This place has nice beer and pretty cheap meals. They also have the menu in English. I went for six cups of their Tapas, whilst my friend had a potato soup and goulash. The soup was fairly huge for a starter and would fill enough for some people. The... More
