Quirky Pub

Love the numerous rooms worth exploring, though best to drink outside when very hot weather. Well brewed beer, and the house brewed ' Brause' (lemonade) is delicious. Definitely one to return to.

I visited Uerige twice during my week in the Ruhr. The first time I had a glass of their Alt at lunchtime in the gorgeous pub, which has many rooms worth looking at. Their homebrewed beer is as good as I have tasted anywhere. I had to return, and when I came back on an Saturday evening joined several hundred... More

As soon as we went into the bar we had one beer in our hands. Very nice beer. All we ate was good and in big quantity. If I ever get back to dusseldorf I will go to this restaurant.

In this restaurant I had the best pig knuckle of Düsseldorf. I'Vê been to several others but this is where the food is best, the beer excelent and the funniest ambiance. The Portuguese and Spanish waiters are great but one of the Germans was really rude. Probably he was tired after a long day with the restaurant always full. The... More

The conference I recently attended arranged for our group of 60 to have dinner at Uerige. The level of service was high and they set up the buffet quickly. However, there was no distinction for those who only chose vegetarian. We were charged the same as those who ate one or two or even three pork knuckles, so I would... More

Great place, well situated. Beer is locally brewed and good. Food recommended by the waiter was not so great. Have to pay cash (dont take credit card)

My second time in Düsseldorf and we had to come back here. It was busier, seemed like fewer guys serving but the beer was still superb. And, to be honest, that's all you need to know. The beer is just amazing. I really like the slightly surly servers, never any complaints - so efficient and I've never felt ignored or... More

Spent a wonderful evening with friends. The large platter of food would feed 12-15 people! Great beer, just note they only serve beer, apple juice & water. If you order red wine be prepared for a fun time with the waiters. Great place for a fun - noisey evening.

Traditional tap house serving the local brew, Altbier. We didn't eat here but the food looked very nice, but for me it's all about the beer. This is a must for beer lovers.

the place in Düsseldorf for a beer. Come here in summer and enjoy sitting/standing outside on the street and drink the great stuff. This beer has been voted best beer in the world and when you come here you know why. Make sure you have more than two, because then you really get the taste.
