Unlike most people, I'm not a big fan of Italian food so for me this place was such a good italian food experience. I cannot stop raving about their complementary bread with Olive and tuna. The olives tasted so delicious and of good quality. It really set it for me. The pasta I ordered was also superb, freshly made and... More

The choice between a soup or a dessert to accompany my main meal was a tough decision at Mario's because of the good quality of food known to be on offer. Pasta with lemon sauce was a tasty new dish I tried. I've never been disappointed here. In summer don't overlook the terrace!

Me and my girlfriend are Italian food lovers. On our trip in Dusseldorf we tried out this restaurant after reading other reviews. We ordered the 'specialty' of the house ( orecchiette ). It was a 'flat' and boring meal. If this is your specialty or best thing of the house, we're asking questions about the other food on the menu.... More

Marco's is good value. We had excellent carpaccio and tender Vitello Tonnato as antipasti (about 10 Euros each), followed by Tagliata di Manzo and pasta with fish (18 and 16 Euros, respectively). We got half of a magnum of Barbera (34 Euros) that was also very good value. We will definetly come again, as this is some of the best... More

This is a family run affair with very good cooking, very reasonable prices, and should be full all of the time but it is just a little bit out of the way of the downtown crowd, but not too far. Pasta is homemade, really good, and service truly makes you feel like you are in grannies house without any pushiness.... More

Modern and spacious setting, lively ambience, fine food, kind service. The restaurant has a very nice and varied menu with typical Italian dishes. Menu regrettably only in German (a bit weird with one of the biggest convention centers in the world in town) but we managed and had a nice evening.

Not one of the best in Ddorf, but decent Italian food. Price could be perhaps slightly reduced. Ambience could be improved (a bit chaotic?). Overall OK.
