Interesting

Read the reviews and set off to find the place. Strangely, as you pass the railway line it all seems a little as Kings Cross used to be. Then it gets better, then even better. The restaurant would win no prizes for its decor. It's a bit like a converted north London pub. But the food and service... read more

Nice Laos style, family run restaurant with large selection of food, spacing from the typical Luang Prabang style to the more classic dishes. The owner, Laos origins but since years in Germany, is welcoming and willing to tell more about the food he is offering, which in some cases might be difficult to understand for the ones who have never... First of all: Don't prejudice the restaurant for it's furniture. It really doesn't look like a beautiful asian restaurant like so many others in Germany, but after talking to the staff you feel like you're home. They are friendly and helpfull and always smiling. The only thing better than the friendly welcome is the food. It tastes nearly perfect and... More

Great food and the flavours were amazing. The workers are very friendly, we were late to make a reservation, but they still made room for the 4 of us. Great place and I will go again.

We went to this fantastic restaurant with my Dutch parents and my Italian wife. We always make sure to check Tripadvisor before we choose a restaurant or hotel and we were not disappointed! After our initial choice of dishes, the friendly staff advised us to go for something else if we would be interested in a more traditional Laotian meal:... More

We visited this restaurant with friends, 3 couples in total after reading the reviews on trip advisor. Four of us are from England and two from Germany. I'd recently visited Laos and adored the food so after reading the reviews felt this would be the perfect place to eat. We walked from the main station which took around 20 minutes... More

Absolutely delicious food and a very warm welcome. Despite not booking, a table was found and we enjoyed the mixed starter for two. This was delicious with a selection of spring rolls (steamed and deep fried varieties), some chicken satay, prawn crackers and Laotian sausages. Everything was great! For main courses we had a yellow curry and a masaman. Both... More

Scruffy, busy, basic and extraordinary. Delicious food (particularly the Laotian specialities) and simply monumental cocktails (the Mai Tai Classic has to be tried to be believed). Quite fantastic!

Very tasty food - different from typical restaurants. Recommendation: Go in the evening (not many options for lunch, as mentioned in the review below) and try the Laos specialties

Chanced upon this restaurant one evening and even though it was quite early for dinner, it was quickly filling up with people. We were quite lucky to get a table without reservation thanks to the people working there who were super friendly and nice. We ordered a non veg platter starter. Must say the Laotisch Wurst was simply amazing and... More
