I had heard of this café but visited this morning having just arrived from London in need of a pick me up. This came in the shape of a most excellent cappuccino, and a visit later on to sample Toykio's speciality Bagels. Very promising. On top of which there is art to be enjoyed...

A friend suggested we try Toykio as she has been there before and knows how much I love coffee. We went last night and I was really surprised. The deco is colourful and has a nice vibe to it, it's a trendy place. The tables are big enough to spread a notebook out on (essential for a writer like myself).... More

I'm always in the hunt for a good coffee place (read: good coffee, good atmosphere, and spacious), and this place really met the description. I'm used to having to compromise (either space to work or good coffee), but this had both. It's also very interestingly decorated and there is a gallery downstairs in case you're in the mood for some... More

Had a really good cappuccino here. Fantastic selection of cakes as well. Really different looking place. Closed a bit early when I went. But I think it might be open now. Had the most amazing salted caramel popcorn macaroon. Lovely. was like time stood still on the first bite. Looking forward to coming back here.

Within the Japanese district you'll find this cafe which is a combination of a cafe, Japanese cult shop and gallery. Ask for a free wifi code.

Located in the heart of the Japanese district, this cafe houses some really interesting pop and urban art plus serves hot and cold drinks. On weekend nights, a DJ plays.

This is half store and half cafe. They have the BEST cappucino in Duesseldorf! Their service is very good too and they have wifi so you can bring your laptop there and surf the net. They have comfortable big tables. I highly recommend! And the toilette downstairs is pretty cool!
