My friend and me, we were the only "japanese" guest at Okinii restrant at that night. Service were smart, atmosphare were good, but foods were, a kind of nightmare. Especially, rice of Nigiri and also Maki, were terrible. Good to have "all you can eat" system in expensive german city, but still better to eat "german food" than such false... More

The concept all you can eat for Japanese kitchen was new to me. If you want to eat quick and a lot, then this is your place. Service is friendly and (very) efficient but food quality is really average. There are so many good Japanese restaurant in the area that I would not go there any more.

Tried Okinii as we like Japanese style food and wanted a change from traditional German fare. We didn't have a booking but were welcomed nevertheless. Quality of food was reasonably good given the price of 14 Euros for all you can eat. Enjoyed the novelty of ordering by I-pad which actually meant a swift response from the kitchen. Decor comfortable... More

atmosphere is modern and nice, but not a japanese style anyway. ordering method: ok, by iPad. modern, yes, all you can eat, yes, ordering every 15 mins. but you can have some sushi or maki with lots of rice and a thin layer of fish. Nice info to know: they do not accept credit card: is this due to the... More

Not the best Japanese food I've ever had, even though 25€ for all you can eat is fine, food was good, the waiters are fast & friendly and you order quickly via own table iPad! I can recommend going there, but it is nothing special given that Düsseldorf is famous for its Japanese cuisine.

Any restaurant that is "all you can eat" that refuses to seat someone despite multiple empty tables, but without a reservation is in the wrong business. Don't risk this while travelling when klosterstrasse is one block over with exceptional sushi choices.

Good food. Worth knowing they prefer cash and add a 2% sur charge to credit cards. Neat trick using iPads to order food and drink. The menu is buffet style i.e eat as much as you can for 25 euros with a few extra items at additional cost!

Situated not far from the main railway station in Japenese quarter. This restaurant came recommended and did not disappoint. Wide array of food on offer in this buffet-style restaurant. Portions are on the smaill sidel but as you order-as-you-go via iPads you can have as much as you like. The service is first class as they orders kept coming as... More

First of all: there is nothing in this place that connects it with Japan, except for the name. The food is average, way too much fat and grease. Sushi taste all the same, often poorly made. Your order is brought randomly, so don't expect grilled food to be really warm. No wonder that local Japanese people avoid this place. Try... More

We tried Okinii after some friends recommended us. They have a nice system and you can order from an iPad exactly what you want and a waiting time between orders. The service is fast and the food was really tasty. You can select from a variety of sushi, warm or even "special" dishes. Overall I think you can try at... More
