Good food. Worth knowing they prefer cash and add a 2% sur charge to credit cards. Neat trick using iPads to order food and drink. The menu is buffet style i.e eat as much as you can for 25 euros with a few extra items at additional cost!

Situated not far from the main railway station in Japenese quarter. This restaurant came recommended and did not disappoint. Wide array of food on offer in this buffet-style restaurant. Portions are on the smaill sidel but as you order-as-you-go via iPads you can have as much as you like. The service is first class as they orders kept coming as... More

First of all: there is nothing in this place that connects it with Japan, except for the name. The food is average, way too much fat and grease. Sushi taste all the same, often poorly made. Your order is brought randomly, so don't expect grilled food to be really warm. No wonder that local Japanese people avoid this place. Try... More

We tried Okinii after some friends recommended us. They have a nice system and you can order from an iPad exactly what you want and a waiting time between orders. The service is fast and the food was really tasty. You can select from a variety of sushi, warm or even "special" dishes. Overall I think you can try at... More

We were looking for a sushi place to lunch as my friend wanted to, we looked at tripadvisor and saw Okinii had okay-ish review. So we thought to try it out. We saw a sign that it was open till 3 pm for lunch and at that time it was around 1:30 pm. So we thought we would have enough... More

This place had been recommended by two Asian friends, so I knew I had to give it a try the next time I was in Dusseldorf. Unlike your typical "eat all you can" restaurant, the food is not laid out on a long buffet table as you might expect. You order from an iPad that shows you what the food... More

I love, love, love their concept. The restaurant itself is quiet big & stylish. I usually go there during lunch, where it gets quiet busy. You get to choose your food via an ipad which is fun. They serve for everyone, I even got vegetarian friends who regularly join me there & they never left hungry. You cannot only choose... More

All you can eat sushi local, you order via Ipad, waiters are nice, the restaurant is always crowded and the audience is very international One and a half years ago I was for the first time here and I thought this was one of the coolest places here in Dusseldorf Now, iPads in restaurants are nothing new, and the sushi... We had dinner in Okinii, Düsseldorf. Food quality was really good for this price. each 15 minutes you can order 5 meals per person using a tablet. If visit again Düsseldorf I will try again this restaurant definitely.

I went there now for 3 times... You pay 25 euros and you can eat whatever fits in your stomach! They have their standard sushi, meat and other meals, but they also change once in a while a few sushis and other stuff. Food comes really fast and its fun ordering on the Ipad! One big minus is the service.... More
