I feel like I'm in Japan, said my japanese girlfriend looking around while sitting down. Wall panels and prints create an authentic ambience, you can really trust to enter an almost identical restaurant room during your future trip to Japan. Sushi's quality was higher than average, row salmon, tuna, shrimp were so fresh, and my korean sister's meat dish "butanoshougayaki"... More

Poor environment, dirty, bad service, mediocre food! What a deception; incredible how people give easy good scores to locations which are just basic.. Microscopic portions at astronomic prices.. Fish not fresh, dry, yellow... Never again..

Japanese staff, fresh ingredients. One of the best sushi in Dusseldorf. Please book in advance, restaurant is not that big and sometimes there is not free space, especially at the lunch.

We dined here twice. First time with sushi. Good, fresh and tasty. Second time with tempura. Also of a good quality. Both times we also orderd a bowl of baked tofu (forgotten the japanese name of it) and some spinace salad. It brough back memories of our japan travels.....

We have visited this restaurant several times and have always been satisfied with the food especially the Sushi, which is always of the highest quality. Only beef is that the lunch specials tend to run out quickly and there may be a queue before you can eat.

I have never been to Japan but this restaurant was the closest experience to what I consider to be an authentic Japanese restaurant: the attendance, the personnel, the menu and the atmosphere will take you to the fasr east. About the food, it was superb. I tried the sushi following the recommendations here and I have been very much pleased.... More

Very nice sushi and authentic atmosphere. Have gone here for years and the first time (in 2009) it was fascinating to be the only "western person" in a restaurant in düsseldorf where all around you were japanese. A classic place for lost in translation as the staff hardly speak any european language; often a good reverse reference to the quality... More

I think the rating of this property is somehow "skewed"; I had sushi in three different restaurants in three consecutive nights and I can't say this was the best; yet it has the best ratings among the three. Mediocre sushi, loud, can't comment about the rest.
