A place in the city centre. The tramway is driving next to the room. it is so crowded but the sundae was terrific. I have hardly ever eaten a better one.

You cannot avoid the long queue and usually you have to wait for approximate 5 to 15mins depending on how long the queue is! A bit expensive but most of the Italian ice creams are! Strongly recommended!

Eiscafé Pia is one of the most famous ice-cream shops in Düsseldorf and by far the most famous in the downtown (not that there are so many in the Altstadt...). If you like to have an ice cream cone, then this shop is the best choice: they have a quite huge range of flavours and they are also good, above... More

There are not too many places where patrons patiently wait in line. This place is worth it. You get great ice cream for a decent price and the portions are ok as well. Certainly this venue cannot compete with true Italian ice cream but it is very close to it.

Gelateria Pia is a great place for young and older ones. The numerous tastes and colours and cream and ...ohhhh.... Fabulous in Summer and marvellous in Winter. It's one of the "must taste" when you are in Düsseldorf. You would not regret! Outside Service and if you want to sit down and rest having your desert you can step in... More

This is an ice-cream shop, not a real restaurant. So, it is somewhat suprising to see it opping up aong the Ddorf restaurants. And even more among the best ones. The ice cream is definitely good, or perhaps very good and price is super-honest. Yet, I would not put it among the best restaurants in Dusseldorf.

its just the best ice cream you can get in Dusseldorf! it only costs 80 cent per one scoop and this one scoop is VERY BIG! I always get the "straccitella" and "pistachio" they are both very good!

Perfect - just try Amarena. All sorts are extra creamy, rich in taste and the price is still fair. First time we went there we were amazed by the size of one single bowl. No need to go inside - it's too ordinary and nothing special. Just by this delicacy right from the street. It's alway busy and the crowd... More

Pros: - Very good value for money (good prices as well as large portions, in terms of both ice cream and fruit) - Very good quality and tasty ice cream - Fast, friendly and professional service Cons: - Nothing I can think of...
