We went there at evening. It was busy but we didn't have to wait too long before a waiter attended to us. We had beers, of course!, and to eat, two kind of soups - asparagus with gamberi and garlic. We also had a salmon salad with little potato breads, which was delicious and enough for almost two persons. They... More

We popped in here for a beer and a warm up while visiting the Dortmund Christmas Market. We were too late for food but the excellent and very friendly staff bought us some filled rolls! The bar itself looked amazing! It was all decorated out for xmas and had a huge and impressive decoration hanging from the ceiling. Above the... More

Ate here thanks to the reviews, it was well worth it! Wiener Schnitzel, German sausage, fried potatoes and onions, sauerkraut and a great local beer! Perfect, friendly staff, a great atmosphere and a well spent lunchtime in Dortmund. Top marks!

We were here whilst staying overnight in Dortmund, and, having negotiated the early evening Christmas shoppers, made our way in out of the cold and into a warm and gemutlich welcome. A good selection of beers, and some excellent food. I wonder why I had not found this before!

One of the best German pubs weve ever been, and weve been to thousands, everything that's good about German pubs can be found in here. Really traditional interior, all wood and brass but also decked out for Christmas,so it looked fantastic. We went in after being in the cold in the big Christmas market and this pub was bouncing. Every table was took... More

The schnitzel is gorgeous, so many to try. Only down side is just 3 desserts and 2 of those on the children's menu!! But a beautiful restaurant right in the centre of the city.

Great place to taste the German kitchen and beer. Don't miss their Platten with included sour cabbage and liver steaks. As for the bier they offer a pack of 13 small beers called "A Meter of Beer". It can be lager meter or Dark meter.....I am thirsty already :)

Nice location in the city Centre. Prices for a full meal averagely 12,50 euro. Typical German meat, potatoes and union dishes giving you enough energy to continue with your travel. Very quick service 9less than 10 minutes) with a smile. Ideal for winter when you need the extra calories. Pub atmosphere.
