Wow! What a great dinning experience. The service was excellent as well. The wait staff was flawless with their quick and friendly service. The meal was very delicious. We had the a la carte menu of avocado rolls, house salad and Charolais beef from Burgundy tenderloin. This was so amazingly tender and delicious, the beef just melted in your mouth.... More

Great food, prepared at a table with 8 people from you personal cook. Although expensive it is worth every Euro. You might be surprised that you are seated in groups of 8, so it is not really suited for first ronatic dates. Expect for a full course meal with drinks something around 70 Euro, around 2 h and a experience... More

The restaurant is located a short walk from the Dom, but out of the old city center. The place is huge with about 15 teppan tables at which 7 people can sit. I went here on 07/12/13 at noon and the place was crowded, however you don't get this feeling. Service was very friendly. The food itself was very good.... More

Excellent food, my wife is complicated when it comes to food, the waitress was very helpful, the menu was adapted all her prerequisites were taking into account. Important to know you sit with other customers around a grill table, so privacy is limited. The quality of the food compensated for this.

I really love japanese food and I'm always happy to spend money for it. However Ditokai is too expensive for what it offers. The quality of the food is really good. We have had teppanyaki and sushi and we were happy of both. Unfortunately price is the issue: if you are starving and eat a good quantity of food you... More

I've tried quite many japanese restaurants in my life, in various countries. But Daitokai is the best so far. The staff is really nice, and totally japanese. They understand and speak german and english without any problem. They behave in an impeccable way, starting from the oshibori in the beginning and the one-use towels for the attendants who are wearing... More

The main bummer in this restaurant is the seating. You're sitting with other customers around grill tables, at just a meter from a chef grilling the food of all the people around the table. So forget about conversation, intimacy, or even relaxedly enjoying your food. We had no grilled dishes ourselves so I can't judge them, but a plain miso... More

really good food and service. It is always a joy to sit at the grill and see the skilled chefs cook in front of you. Not up to the quality in Japan and Korea though.

We really enjoyed the food and the experience of having it cooked in front of us, and the service was really good. The only downside is that we were eating in a practically empty restaurant on a Saturday night, which didn't make for much atmosphere. I would reommend going to this restaurant in a group rather than as a couple.
