Description: The Vintage is a restaurant, wine shop, cookery school, delicatessen and...
The Vintage is a restaurant, wine shop, cookery school, delicatessen and catering service all rolled into one and lays absolute importance on everything - quality, service, ambience, attentiveness, authenticity, relaxation, respect and friendliness. Upholding tradition in a modern setting, the finest produce, mostly from excellent local cottage industries, are used according to season and always interpreted anew for the times. Here, the Vintage recognises Germany as a land where the finer things are appreciated and sees Cologne as a city of connoisseurs. However, it also knows that even the finer things can be wonderfully inspired by the sensuous Mediterranean, or treasured classic and innovative wine regions of the new or old world. There are more than 25 wines available by the glass and these also vary every week.

Good for business dinners

Good menu selection and good wine selection. Their dishes are tasty and nicely decorated. A bit pricy. Well located and easy parking. Make sure you book

Great restaurant: service is good, the food was outstanding and the wine menu is impressive and at reasonable prices. The interior is modern and the location, at the banks of the Rhine, is great. Price quality is fair. Highly recommended.

Fresh innovative menu with excellent service - particularly the Sommlier who served some great German wines. Excellent location along the Rhine. Recommend for outdoor eating and for groups such as work functions.

We went to this well located restaurant on the Rhein for dinner on a Friday evening. We were given a table next to the door even though we had reserved many days in advanced. We were not offered a better table even after asking... I had to get up on many many occasions to close the door as it was... More

Only restaurant I know in Cologne with a location on the Rhine together with very good food. However for lunch there was little choice and only two boring desserts were offered.

Nicey located at the riverside we decided to try this restaurant. We had made a reservation in advance, however when we arrived the waiter had no idea where to put us. The restaurant was full and only very few staff was actually serving. Thus, it took ages to order food, to get our meal, to pay etc. The wine which... More

We visited here on 3rd November last year as a group of 6 for a special birthday and it certainly left us with a special memory. We opted for the surprise menu and it was wonderful. We had 2 younger diners with us and they agreed that the food was exceptional. We had everything from prawns to lamb and the... More
