The Location is great. The decoration impressive and the atmosphere is inspired the the clasic German Breweries. We were a group of twelve guys who went to the restauran to enjoy a nice meal. And we did. Nice sausages and pork cheeks. However the staff was not very nice with us. I seems that they did not seems very happy... More

The Priory of Sion is hiding in plain sight. Their headquarters is the Brauhaus Sion in Cologne. They communicate via satire, tom-foolery, craziness, insults, and impertinence. An outsider cannot tell what is information and what is disinformation. Insiders cannot tell whether they are inside or outside. You may be a member of the Priory of Sion without knowing it. If... Sat in here with son in law waiting for the girls to do their shopping. When we saw the food it was decide that this was where we were going to have lunch. Roast pork knuckle . Spot on . Could of stayed there all day and got slowly slathered :)

I really hat to come back to my home town to experience the most worse service I ever had... To make a long story short: After 45 minutes being ignored we left this place. For sure this place doesn´t matter about bad reviews as they are always packed. But if you are in Cologne searching for a nice "Brauhaus" and... More

The atmosphere was lively, more action-packed than other breweries we visited. The interior was also more modern. When others remain with the traditional, Sion had a stylish combination of old and new. Beer was good and tasty. In this category Sion goes in top two breweries in Cologne. Service was more neglectful compared to other breweries. However, beer is available... More

The beer is great. The food is good. The servers do what they have to do. I liked this place except that the toilet frau gave me a hard time about leaving a tip. One doesn't usually have washroom attendants inside of restaurants where I come from. Or maybe I just don't eat at the right places. Anyway, to avoid... More

I found the Brauhaus Sion to be a typical German 'pub'. Serving simple but hearty food and good beer. We visited while viewing the Xmas markets so the place was busy but we were able to get our party of 6 in. We were never hurried and could have stopped all night if we had wanted. Service was excellent and... More

We went there on Xmas morning. After the waiter brought some coffees I tried to order, but all he said was: "This is not McDonalds" and left. We should have left on the spot, but we waited for another 15 min, waving to the waiters. Another one came and took our order. They were quick to bring the food, but... More
