Very good pizzas and salads, friendly employees, and nice ambience. The only complain I would have would be that the wine was a little bit tasteless, but other than that, i'm sure i will come back!

I've had a lot of pizzas and this compares with some of the best.
Pizzeria Piccola is located north-west of the center of town. It is a short bike ride, with good bike parking available, and conveniently located next to a bike shop.
You order at the counter, but make sure you look at the two chalk boards flanking the...

We were here because of business and it was such a pleasure to be here. The food was excellent and the employees were so friedly! After one succesfull evening, we went there again the day after. They were very willing co-operate because of our big group of two companies. The food was delicious and fast. Next year we will definitely...

We went to this restaurant on a snowy Sunday evening, the place is very small with a cozy atmosphere. There was a line of people but most were ordering to go. Grab a table and a menu (no waitresses) then order your meal at the front. The half bottle of wine was perfect for the two of us. We split...

We went here on the strength of the reviews and weren't disappointed. It's busy and bustling but warm and friendly - even if your German is poor. We had a pizza, desert and drink each that came to €26 which is pretty reasonable for a major city. The food was quick and good quality. The Puistrasse U bahn station is...

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor, it lived up to the bill. The staff were very welcoming, the place was full with a lovely atmosphere. The food was great, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the total bill was under €50 for 3 adults. Couldn't fault it
This restaurant is indeed not really the place to be for a quiet romantic dinner. It is rather busy and hectic and you have to order and collect your food at the counter (you get an electronic device to take to your table which tells you when your food is ready).
But don't let this rather 'different' (but efficient) way...

We caught the U- bahn from the Dom, super easy trip. Well worth any effort to get there. No reservations possible, but easy to get a place to sit. The pasta and pizza were great. My 17 year old even took his girlfriend there- 3 hours by train, for her birthday. We will definitely go back.
Based on the excellent review, me and my partner went there on a Thursday evening. We were greeted heartily, but the place was completely packed. It's a small, but very cozy establishment that is burstling with life and atmosphere. After a 5 minute wait a table opened up and we took a look at the menu. The prices were just...

We went to this pizzeria because we read it on Tripadvisor but I don't understand why it's #2 as best restaurant in Cologne. It is indeed quite cheap but not in the city centre either, so we rode a long way there and the pizza was just average (if not poor). I am Italian living in Holland so I know...
