We went to Cafe Rico for a late lunch. We were tired and hungry and happened upon Cafe Rico by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We had several items from the daily menu, the mediterranean flammkuchen, pumkin soup and spargel, tomato, & mozzerella salad. Presentation, flavors and freshness were perfect. For our kids, we... In between the trending "Brusseler" quarter and, as an indicator, the Walter König bookstore, Rico - with its small sidewalk terrace and the clean, cosy inner space, ... is always filled with happy and/or quiet people, ... chatting, reading. For coffee, breakfast, a snack, ... a perfect, tucked-away spot perfectly poised on the "Kölner map."

Excellent Café atmosphere with delicious breakfast plates and coffees. Slightly expensive, but totally worth a visit. Would recommend and go again.

Really nice food, good service and a great location. A brilliant spot for brunch or coffee and cake and right in the town centre too. Always busy, and good value for money too.

Good location and atmosphere with nice food and several healthy options. Perhaps more expensive than some other places for breakfast/brunch but still reasonable value considering the quality of the food.

I'm never one to be at the back of the queue when there are good cakes to be had, and this place certainly fits the bill with it's array of tempting goodies. On the day I went for a rhubarb, great choice, this could easily have been dry with little fruit, but it was so moist and packed full of... More

We took 2 breakfasts here because we read some very positive reviews in Tripadvisor. First of all you have to know that the prices were relative high (from €6 to €11 without any hot beverage) which was higher than our hotel's breakfast buffet (€9) (we had some regrets ^^). The breakfast itself was okay (no buffet) but don't worth such... More

I've eaten at Cafe Rico a number of times now and whilst their breakfast and lunches are all very nice - as well as their coffee and cakes which are truly fantastic, its their extensive range of Gin's and Tonic waters that really stands out above the rest. Unlike most cafe/bars which tend to stock the standard Beefeater and Bombay... More

We went to the markets in Rudolfplatz and ran into this place to get out of the rain. The kitchen was closing but the waitress was so helpful and pleasant. A nice quiet little café to get away from the crowds. It was truly a pleasure to stumble on this place :)

After reading some good reviews and looking for a brunch place we decided upon cafe rico. Upon arrival we went inside but no-one attended to us, after a few minutes we found a waitress and asked for a table for two inside. Unfortunately there were no inside tables available so she suggested we try outside but did not actually seat... More
