So much meat!! Reasonably priced with good service. We couldn't finish our meals so ended up taking some away. It was really busy but service was prompt

For the same price as the grotty breakfast at our Ibis you can have a basket of delicious fresh bread and pastries with cheese, preserves and meats. Never mind the scrambled eggs with dill and salad. The coffee is especially good and although the place is enormous everything is done in a really friendly and relaxed manner. It's a really... More

The food was just ok here. My burger very bland and tasteless, my partner's breakfast just overwhelmingly eggy. Crowded, expensive and full of self-regarding locals. Probably best to avoid.

It was laid back, the food was wonderful and our waitress, Karina, was... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience... Went there twice in a five day visit. Quite busy so prepare to be patient but it's worth the wait...

Fantastic coffee, perfect bread, a kings platter of meat, just a great experience. Was full but not too busy, waited 5 minutes for a table, the service was quick the coffee was great and the food was delicious and in huge portions. Would recommend.

Came here for breakfast with the family during our Cologne stay, not normally being used to continental style breakfasts we found it a refreshing change, staff were good food was utterly awesome and the bread, every single piece of bread in our basket tasted amazing! Given it was a bit of a walk for us we decided not to return... More

I read about Bastian's on TA and we somehow managed to stumble upon it this morning. Wet and windy outside, warm and friendly in. I could not fault this place, you dont need to worry about choice and the English menu helps loads. Very good sevice and plenty of room. We had the breakfast for 2 which was massive.....well worth...
