We visited this pub on our first night in Colgne and it was a great experience. Waiter was very helpful and beer was delicious (even to a non-beer drinker like myself). Food was OK - as we found out later, typical of the food service in the pubs!

Outstanding! I read other Tripadvisor reviews and thought I'd give this restaurant a try. Fantastic German food! I live in Germany and this is one if the best/authentic German meals I have ever had. The waiter was fantastic and recommended some "Cologne Favorites" on the menu. He even went out of his way and translated the kids menu for a...

This restaurant serves fantastic traditional German food. Probably the best German food I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious and full of local people. I ordered a great schnitzel dish with potatoes, goulash and salad. You could go to many similar restaurants in the city and spend more but this one is one of the best and was reasonably priced....

The host at our B&B recommended this restaurant. The beer is wonderful and the food hearty. We had the schnitzel and it was very good. Very affordable as well.
After paffgen my favourite beer hall in cologne. Beer is lovely though I prefer the hoppier paffgen.
Was bombed out on war like rest of city but interior faithfully reconstructed so it feels like an old place with character when you walk through the revolving door.
Service was brisk though as it was karneval it was very busy and took...

I've visited most of the brauhaus's, which is something to be recommended! and without doubt Malzmuehle is the finest - and thankfully off the beaten track so less tourist orientated. Favored by Lufthansa flight crew which says something.
Very friendly, absolutely superb Kolsch, great Koln food - what more can you want? just dont expect a green salad & a...

If you're looking for traditional german food served with lots of Klosch beers, and a fantastic atmosphere - this is the place. Great food, great service, great location and would certainly go back.
It is extremely popular - so don't expect to stroll in at 7pm on a Saturday and expect to get a table - if you can, make...

I loved this place. There were four of us and we showed up last minute thinking it would be not so busy since it was a Thursday night. Boy oh boy, was it busy. After a few discussions with various people within (???) we wee told they had a table for us. Super.
Totally cramped, but no problem.
As always...
