But very good. Nice variety of german dishes and of course... Beer. The environment is nice and the best is that its authentic! Not very touristic, so the prices are very decent!!

I first experienced Haus Unkelbach in the 70's as an expat in Klettenberg for 3 years. It's a local institution and for a tourist seeking a bit of the real Cologne, it's highly recommended. I totally recommend this place. Perhaps it's a little bit far from all the main touristic attractions but far more authentic then places next to the cathedral. Cold beer, delicious, but very caloric, food, great ambient - what else one could wish after long day of sightseeing. If you like brown and days long boilded vegetable you are right here. There was not renovated since est. 40 years.

This was a very old, 75 year, with traditional German food from the past as well as present. The menu says " we hope to be here another 75 years". I also hope they are there another 75 year. The staff was very helpful and the service was excellent. I hope to go bsck and recommend it to friends.
