Impressive wines go together with very good food

It's clear it's all about good wines in here, which goes very well with the lovely food. Wince choices are well presented by a very knowledgable wine connaisseur.

I really enjoyed my dinner. The starter and main were delicious. The presentation in the plate very pretty. Staff was very helpful.

Very bad service! Very bad quality/price! I ordered squid and they brought octopus... They serve all the dishes very late. 20' for the starters and almost 30' for the main... I recomend this restaurant for your enemies, not for you.

We chose this restaurant for our work Christmas dinner and could not have been happier. We were treated to a four course surprise dinner that took in to consideration all our dietary needs, likes and dislikes. We had a coeliac and a pescetarian amongst us and both were well catered for. All four courses were absolutely delicious. The service was... More

This is a very nice restaurant with very friendly staff, and nice interior. To me the ceiling looked as if many deflated hot air balloons were dangling from it, and to my partner it looked like rows of empty shopping bags. In either case, with the light behind whatever it was it gave the restaurant a sympathetic atmosphere. The food... More

We ate here on December 13. It was busy, but the service was great. They have many wonderful German wines, and we opted for a bottle of one that they rated a "SELEKTION" which was quite nice and only 26 euros. I had the wonderful beef tartare and ordered the goose as my main course. You don't often see goose... More

So we went there for a special occasion, and had the surprise menu. With the accompanying wines. It was very good - you really couldn't fault it. My wife is allergic to nuts, so having told them that, they made sure that all of her dishes were nut free - but they were just as good as the ones I... More

We visited Wein am Rhein recently and had a very enjoyable experience. Refined local cuisine without the heaviness of traditional German foods. We ordered a la carte and not the surprise menu. Service was excellent, well situated close to the Dom but away from the real hustle of the old town. Decor is modern/minimalist but food was excellent.

Been coming here since it opened and it's as good as ever. 16 Euros for set lunch, simple but very fresh mixed salad, fish of the day roasted salmon on a bed of leeks, then 5 good quality cheeses served with chutney and 3 types of bread. Main reason for me to visit is the wine. Sommelier Melanie is so... More

We went to this place for dinner on recommendation and we are not disappointed. Opted for the €48 surprise four course menu. Attentive, friendly, helpful and overall outstanding service. The food choice and standard was very good as well as educational as some of the courses were not what we would have chosen through choice, but may well now consider... More
