Good Indian food, however a little expensive. Small place, book in advance if you plan to go on weekends. Lot of choices for both veg and non veg items

I recommend this restaurant for his excellent kitchen, a perfect and nice service and a correct price. For me the best indian I've had ever been :-). The only little bone of contention was that everything was spicy (despite I've had asked it). But it was so a wonderful discovery that this little contention is irrelevant. The service was simply... Kamasutra is probably the best Indian restaurant in Cologne. We ate LOTS - nearly 20 different dishes, and ALL were really good & tasty! :-) Many recommendations!

Being rated as a top ten Köln restaurant made Kamasutra the obvious choice for a curry-deprived soul. If you are British or have eaten British curry you are better off to go back to the dodgiest curry joint on brick lane than to eat at this establishment. Kamasutra would have to be the most German curry restaurant I have eaten... More

I walked in the restaurant at 10:00 PM .. greeted right away with a smile, which was the first good impression about the restaurant, with a note :: Sir, We are sorry, currently no place available, followed by "But" if you come back or wait for 20 min, we will sort out something for you ... Interesting for me was... More

From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you are impressed! The tables are all color-coordinated (ours was pink with pink roses, pink table ribbons, pink wine ribbons and a pink chocolate box). The service was impecable - our waiter was so friendly and knowledgable. We ordered on his recommendations and were not disappointed (their black bean lentil dip appetizer... More

My experience with Indian restaurants is that everything tastes quite the same, but this one is really good. Staff is very friendly, the menu is huge, you get a lot of explanations on the different dishes, and frankly I would have liked to taste more of them, even if I'm no friend of too hot dishes.

I was slightly dubious about the name, wondering what appetites they might satisfy, but the experience turned out to be excellent. I went as part of a group of 6 business colleagues, with no prior reservation, just turning up at about 9:30pm on a Wednesday in August. All six of us (including one vegetarian from India) agreed that the food... More
