I popped in here for lunch and after a few strolls among the counters I figured that I would stay, there was plenty of interest. I was a little disappointed that their idea of "vegan" was not the same as mine (One dish was listed as "vegan" but that it did have "lactose" (it was obviously covered in cream sauce... More

We ate twice in this vegetarian restaurant, located close to the central station. Pros- you can see what you eat (big advantage when you travel to another country and you are not used to the food), you just fill up a dish and pay per grams. The food looks nice and tidy, clean, fresh. Cons - the food is a... More

As a vegetarian staying in Bonn on business, I found it hard to find healthy options on a daily basis. Until I discovered Cassius Garten. You pay by weight and there is a range of salads, desserts and soups to choose from, apart from daily specials of hot dishes.

Had a vegetarian Mousaka on my last visit. While not up to Greek restaurant standards, it was pretty good for cafeteria style food. There is a wide selection available and it's a good place for a quick and satisfying meal near the Bonn Hauptbahnhof.

Very good vegetarian food in a quiet, if not very atmospheric, canteen-style restaurant very close to the Hauptbahnhof. Wide range of salads and fruit juices, smaller range of hot foods - check the dish of the day on the menu on the way in. I had an excellent pumpkin parmigiana. Only down side were the prices which weren't bad but... More

Wonderful selection and quality of salads, soups, hot foods and a few deserts. It is a pity to weigh the plate and see how much has been piled on but it is easy to eat every bite. If I lived in Bonn this would be a repeat for sure. Highly recommend it.

This restaurant is a very nice place to get some fresh light (veg) foods. Although I am a meat lover and I just visited this place all by chance, I like to have lunch here and stop by quite often. There are two rows of salad bars, one hot dishes and the other cold dishes - some of the hot... More

I was reluctant to go here as a meat eater but was taken by a friend who is vegan. Fantastic salad bar with more choice than you could ever ask for. Pay by weight. Great hot meal choices which my friends tried. Health juices available, all food was fresh and tasty. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great atmosphere with... More

Cassius Garten is my favorite place to eat in Bonn, if not all of Germany. Why? The food! The ingredients are all high quality, well prepared, and there is a great selection. Salads are fresh, the various stations offer entrees for vegans and ovo-lacto vegetarians. Although more buffet or cafeteria style, the people who work there are friendly, helpful and... More
