Visiting Bönnsch has become something of a yearly pilgrimage. The pub just has a wonderful, warm, hearty atmosphere - such a contrast to the bars of northern Germany. The staff are friendly, the beer tastes great - what more can you ask for?

Nice staff, quite quick to service people. The food was ok. The place ok. Price are acceptable. Advice: they should also offer weekend brunch, it would be great.

We end up this place because close to the hotel, the food is OK and the beer is good and locally made. The only downside is the glasses (very nice indeed) are small so you need to order more of them. From a German place I expect bigger beers.

The Brauhaus Bonnsch is not the place for quiet, romantic conversations, but it is boisterous, loud, busy, and fun. And do they have the pork! Pigs' knuckles and pork roast come in portions large enough to satisfy any carnivore, all for around 15 Euros. Add in rich brown gravy, excellent potato dumplings, and the signature crooked little beer glasses you... More

We came to Bönnsch on our first visit to Bonn and were very happy with our experience. Our waiter was very friendly and willing to be flexible with us (because of course we wanted schnitzel AND spätzle). The beer tasted great (brewed themselves) and our food was absolutely delicious. Although I would say it was slightly oily, the mushroom schnitzel... More

Amazing quality. Great typical German food. Must must go on a Sunday or holiday... ALL YOU CAN EAT SCHNITZEL!!!! You will go insane if you are into meat. Amazing sauces and just great quality. The beer is not so good but any other German beer will do. Its a favorite in my list!!!!

Summer arrived rather abruptly in Pentecost weekend this year, and we were in Bonn. It was helpful to reserve a table for us, as outdoor tables were almost fully taken. For the weather, it would've been a bit silly to stay inside. There was a special offer all "u can eat" schnitzel for the price of €19.50. But we were... More

On a recent visit to Bonn my uncle took me to Bönnsch for trying out their local brew and boy it was amazing! It is very good beer, and it was simply amazing having a sit outside in the sunshine! We did not eat anything but their beer is cool, and the jug is funny :) If you love beer... More

Family restaurant with own beer - Bönnsch, local analog to Kölsch. Recommend traditional regional food - Reibekuchen
