Nice place, friendly staff

Having walked past a few times had to visit just to experience how different Nepal cuisine is from Indian cuisine. Weather was nice so sat outside where there is space for about 10-14 people, with inside having two medium sized rooms for seating. You can see how they make the trademark momo's with... read more

Stopped here on the way back to our hotel early Friday evening, the restaurant was very busy as we did not have a reservation but we were quickly seated. Not an extensive menu but they specialise in what is on there. Service was fantastic. Very reasonably priced with good portions.

What a delightfully refreshing menu. Real options for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. Relaxed atmosphere with good service. We shared three entrees of dumplings/samosas. The soup as a main was large and filling. The dhal and curries also very good. The mango lassi a winner with the children. Really relaxed and enjoyable meal and very filling.

I have been meaning to visit this place for quite some time, and being a big momo and tibetean cuisine fan, I was tad disappointed. I had momos in soup which was okayish, and the spinach momos were not tasty. My recommendation is to take the ground beef version. My main course was pulled nuddles with stir fried vegetables. It... I love coming here when I am bored with the regular fares and routines. While pizza, steak, Thai and co is fantastic and delicious, once in a while I crave new flavors. The Himalayak is a perfect place for this. The flavors are rich and comforting. The team is very nice. I especially love to come here with friends and... More

I was visiting a friend in Germany for two weeks and this is one of the restaurants we visited. Found it on TripAdvisor and it seemed good so we went on a Sunday night around 7 and it was packed. We were asked to wait 20 minutes and were seated within 10 minutes. The whole staff was very nice and... More

Though it was a holiday and we didn't make a reservation, they did their best to squeeze us in. And we were glad they did. We started with some samosas and momos (I think). While we waited we got some himalayan bread with kind of tzatziki and chili sauce on the house. A good start. Our first course came quickly... More

Very nice small place which offers different meal options than what you might be used to. Not a big selection but nice choices. Cheap prices. Great to go for quick dinner
