Authentic German restaurant. Great choice of meals with helpful staff.located central Bochum I would certainly recommend this venue. Mostly visited by older generation so younger people might be out of their comfort zone. If you want an authentic German meal however this would be the place to go.

Said to be the oldest restaurant in Bochum, Die Uhle offers charming service, some English and a range of shnitzel options at lunchtime. It is clearly popular with local business people and shoppers and well worth a visit.

I really recommend this place. The general ambience is pretty relaxed, the food is very good, the staff was very kind and careful and the service was super-quick! In particular, I loved the meat and the croquettes. Nice furniture and decorations. Very reasonable prices.
