Good food but a little overrated

Unique experience to dine in an old church. Great set up and interior. The food was good, I had a Thai soup followed by salmon. The soup was really good but the fish was a little too fatty for my taste. Overall nothing to really complain about but somehow the expectations were too high I guess... read more

Great restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. Food was good, a kind of fusion which worked well. It was asparagus season when I went and it was delicious. It's strange being in an old church and I thought it would be austere but it works well.

Service was very pleasant. The pretty lady with (I just guess) Arabian roots was very friendly and humorous. She served us in time, came back frequently, even when it was a busy evening, recommendations where good, food arrived at once for our table and didn't only look good, it also tasted well. The tuna steak with the wasabi rice and... More

Very original place to have a restaurant. The beer garden is great with an area reserved for the kids. The staff are friendly and the food is quite good.

Fancy Location in the middle of town. Not very Special from the outside the interior is astonishing. The Food is very nice, the lightning great and thecharacter of the church still quiet visible. I will visit again this place with great pleasure.

Although a converted church, the atmosphere is definitely not holy. The food was good, as was the service. The Viennese Schnitzel was particularly good. Good choice of wines and beers to go with the food! Nice ambience - lots of space around the tables.

'The Church' is a beautiful converted building with a real ambience and imposing setting. Unfortunately this setting is let down by the menu choice and quality of food - which is really surprising as we last went when it first opened and the food was top notch. Positives are the staff (absolutely brilliant attention to detail and manner) plus the... More

Even on a week night, it can be busy, but one never feels rushed. The menu - also available in English - has options for everyone: pasta, vegitarian, salads, curry, pizza, etc. The bar offers a wide variety of drinks and the bartenders are talented. What really makes this restaurant stand out is the location - an old church. The... More

it doesn"t matter at what time I'm there it is always nice. You can just enjoy a cup of coffee or have a nice dinner. It is in an old church and does have a special atmosphere. Give it a try and enjoy it. You NEED to book in advance.

Have not checked the new fine dining restaurant at first floor. Too much convinience food products are used. Atmosphere in an old church is great.
