My husband ate at this restaurant 10 years ago and loved it. He was delighted he could find it again. Wonderful meal and lots of locals were there. We had great wiener schnitzel with salad and french fries and beer. Good size portions of all. Highly recommend.

My brother lives in Hannover and we were looking for a traditional German restaurant! Found this gem and lived it! Food and service is outstanding! Sit in the beer garden! Loved the germ Knoedel as dessert!

Typical bavarian (and german) cuisine; although they have some veggie / fish alternatives you should love meat as this is their primary cuisine and it is all good. My favourites are the 'schweinshaxe' (always crusty as it has to be) and the schnitzel. If you wanna taste multiple specialities: go for the sharing options and order the 'Molle Holztrog' but... The waiter offered us a pretzel as a starter, it was dry and not very tasty, so don't bother, you can get better ones in any street corner. We had fish and schweinhaxn, both were extremely tasty and big enough portions to feel completely full and satisfied. After two huge beers - also very good - we just hadn't any... More

I went here a year ago and I was delighted. I came back, and it was just as good. This is the place in town for traditional German food. The only beer available is from Bavaria.

We have been here before the food and the atmosphere were great and the service matched. When we got home 45 minutes after leaving the a Bavarium I discovered that I had left something very valuable on the table we immediately phoned and yes they had our item in safe keeping allowing us to collect it the following day.WOW WELL... I arranged this visit because many of my co-workers were coming from Asia and other parts of Europe to Germany. They wanted to experience a bit of German culture/food, in the middle of Hannover this is one of the few places that will happen. Generally to find the best German food you have to travel 30km outside of any city,... More

I went with my partner after seen positive reviews on TripAdvisor. We walked in and the place looked nice. It was busy, but there were some tables free. However, we were sent to the Biergarten at the back. Although enclosed and heated, it was lacking any of the atmosphere from the main area. Furthermore, it was full of smoke as... More

This German circular restaurant is in the city center. The inside is made of wood and this brings the guests in a nice environment. I ordered the "Gebratene Schweinshax" that is a roasted pork knuckle served with sauerkraut. The meat was perfectly cooked and still soft, a perfect delicacy.

We were there 2 times. First time there were many free tables, and service was nice. Meals are delicious. Second time we hardly found table to sit. Service was bad (they forgot half of our order), but meals were also delicious.
