The Restaurant offers really few options of food on the menu.. And despite there's a lot wlof wine bottles on the wall, surprinsingly there's NO WINE MENU. When we insisted to know about the wine options, they had.us waiting a lot und just brought a bottle that we didn't order, without giving the price (there was mo price for the... More

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, but when you go inside it is not so good. The waitress were rude, they do not have a wine menu with the prices. The food has no special details. I prefer Vapiano!

More

This restaurant is oriented towards the theater crowd--seating and timing of orders is geared towards getting people in and out on time. I recently visited Trattoria Salvatore as a single diner not visiting the theater. Despite having no reservation they found me a seat. The service was loud, hurried and impersonal--I felt like the head waiter was yelling at me--and... More

I went to the this Italian restaurant with some friends as It was recommended as one of the nicest Italian in Gottingen but was pretty disappointed by the service. Our waiter was quite rude, he gave us the special of the week so quickly than we could not understand, one of our friend was late and they mentioned it to... More

My 7 year old and I had a fantastic meal there. The entire staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lively and relaxed all at the same time. My child loved the penne pasta, and I had a great pizza and a fresh salad with a good vinaigrette. We would definitely recommend it and eat there again. Afterwards, we went... More

I ate a spaghetti with seafood. It was so delirious. I went there single, despite it was very crowded the staff found a small place for me to sit.

Goettingen is not a culinary capital. Filled primarily with not very good Italian restaurants, some decent Turkish ones, and a few nice cafes plus Gausskeller and Planea. Salvatore is the Italian everyone talks about, but our experience there was less than outstanding. The pasta was overcooked (German style), the pizza ok if a simple one is ordered. The ambiance is... I am Italian, and having dinner in an Italian restaurant in Germany is always a bit risky... but in this place everything was OK, at least for me. I had a pizza and it was very good; a colleague took a pizza with gorgonzola and shrimps, an Italian would find it bizzarre, to say the least, but he liked it.... More

The service was friendly, the food fine (I had antipasti as a main course and husband had a pasta dish. Nice 2dl glasses of red and white from Sicily. Lively and very full the evening we were there, people waiting for tables. It was not expensive.
