I always think what is great is 5 star food at a 3 star price (see my review of Pizzeria Laguna Wiesbaden) but sometimes you want to blow it out. Well the Ente the place. Interesting enough I can tell you it is the only place I ever had a German Red wine where I ordered a second bottle. If... More

Greatly enjoyed our lunch at Ente. I understand that Ente means duck in German and they certainly know how to cook and present their namesake - although I had the lamb (which was very good) the rest of my party had the duck ( they cook it for two people to share) and I am reliably informed it was excellent.... The best dinner I've ever had! We celebrated the study-end and enjoyed a 5 course menu with wines. They showed us the meat in the raw state, explained each course and advised us not only expensive but also the most appropriate wines at reasonable prices. For a special occasion the right restaurant!

Ente, in the Nassauer Hof Hotel in Wiesbaden, Germany, is a lovely establishment set to one side of the spacious hotel lobby. On one of the last evenings it was warm and pleasant enough to eat outside we had a proper Michelin star meal. The big decision of the night was whether to go a la carte or avail ourselves... More

A group of friends took me here for my birthday and it was an amazing meal. A bit pricey, but worth a splurge. Don't miss the duck!

The location is very nice, inside a nice hotel, looking to the park. The interiors, absolutely according to the reputation. The service all the time attentive. We were 4 amuse-bouches, outstading every one. The sourdough bread, beautiful, wished to bring back home some. With fantastic butter and olive oil. The Portions are adecuate... on the small side, but after 4... More

This restaurant is among the best restaurants that we visited in Germany. So we go there every time we are in Wiesbaden. It is worth making a reservation even for lunch, especially on weekends.

Well, you know the process - these small "surprises" come in and you loose the sight of the original menu, and afterwards you can remember the goose liver and the lamb. This one surely is worth a visit or two if you can get someone else to pay.
