a villa close to the city - but pretty remote in the valley

It takes you 10 minutes to drive into the valley. No problems with parking, nature pure, silence, an ambiance for coming down immediately. Whether yor are placed inside or outside on the terrace: sit down and relax, listen to the friendly waitress / waiter or the song of the birds, sip your water... read more

This is surely the second best restaurant after the one Michelin star Restaurant Ente. The food is creative, but not overdone in the way that you palate get confused. Its Austrian dominated cuisine combines good products with some creativeness. The wine list is big, Austrian and German dominated. I wished they had a bigger choice of open wines, but well...When... I've visited this restaurant twice in the month of August 2014 and enjoyed it both times. The food is top notch, the decor is warm, and the woodland location is beautiful. It is an upscale restaurant that does not take it self too seriously or is too stuffy that it would prohibit families with children from enjoying it. Both times... More

I was very excited to try Villa Im Tal, but my experience was very disappointing. The food was excellent, but they seem to be catering to families with young children, and this was not what I was expecting for an expensive (€150-200) meal for two people. The night I was there (28 August) no less than three tables had toddlers... More

Nice view, modern and at same time romantic! Food was good! Very friendly service and excellent Austrian desert! Will come back for again.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience in this stylish restaurant in the middle of the woods. Ambience fantastic, food out of this world, attendance perfect but not the cheapest restaurant in town - but probably the best. Once we have saved up for it, we will probably go again.

The restaurant is nice. Menu was typical German with Wild fame additions. I thought the menu would be more eclectic...was surprised it was more traditional. Food was very good. It's expensive but quality and ambiance is worth the extra money.

This restaurant lives up to all expectations. Set in beautiful woodland on the edge of the city, we were welcomed into a modern but comfortable dining room and sat in front of a roaring fire to warm up. The service was absolutely first rate, warm, friendly and very professional. The food is modern Austrian, the menu is short and totally... More

I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for a long time. Finally, on my birthday, hubby brought me here. While waiting for our food and drinks, tasty bread and dips were served. Appetizers were deeelicious! For the mains, hubby had steak while I had risotto with scallops. Hubby's steak was delectable. I found my risotto with scallops too... More
