Great food, traditional decor! A small place tucked into he alley may be hard to find for tourists. Reservations highly recommended.

Very nice establishment with a very classy setting. They were alittle confused about our reservation but they worked it out. It took the waitress 10 minutes and 5 passes by our table before we ordered drinks so we jumped on the opportunity to order our meal. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and we were not... More

The restaurant is well situated in the center of the city. The interior decorations are quite authentic and original (massive wood furniture and wall plates with skillful carving). The food is delicious, very generous portions, well presented. I took as a starter a mixed plate (it actually could be enough for a main dish) and as a main dish –... More

We have been to this place about 20 times since we moved to Wiesbaden in October 2010. If I go to a restaurant 20 times, I want to be treated like a loyal customer. We have stopped going to Chokdee inspite of great food because their service has been deteriorating....

Restaurant is decorated very well in the interior. Large menu, and the food is served "Thai Spicy" which is sometimes hard to find in Europe. Ambiance and food both receive high marks. A lot of local Germans were eating here when my wife and I walked in after attending a concert at the Kurhaus. If you like Thai and want... More

This place has good food, great atmosphere, high prices. Usually quite crowded, so reservation is recommended.

Having had some disappointing meals recently at a Thai restaurant we used to go to (the Royal Orchid), we decided to give this place a try. We were very impressed. We had a squid salad, duck with cashew nuts and the spicy crisp duck with cauliflower and broccoli. Everything was well-balanced and absolutely wonderful and the portions were generous. (A... More

Visited Chookdee Thai last week and had a very good meal. The restaurant is relatively small with a split of seated tables and also an 'no shoe area' where you sit on the floor, quite nice I thought. Really nice interior. The food was pretty good, tasty and plentiful. I went for a mixed sharing platter to start, which was... More

I had dinner in this restaurant due to the opinions in tripadvisor and I was a bit disappointed. I had a coco soup (ok) and a "classic" thai - chicken basil which was much more spicy than basil. Anyway, the food is ok, regularly priced but it is far from "better than Thailand" as some opinions say.

The interior is awesome -- hand carved, authentic looks from Thailand. Limited seating, would make a reservation. You can even sit on these cool bench/floor pillows.
