Good place to eat outside when the weather permits. Food is fairly quick and the staff is friendly. Food is delicious - meat and potatoes type. There are also some good veggie dishes as well.
Had dinner here with friends after work on two occasions. Mainly meat on the menu, including steak, lamb, pork and turkey. The mixed meat skewer is very good with beef, lamb and pork all cooked to perfection and served with some of the best fried potatoes I have had in Germany. The steak you cook yourself on a hot stone... More
After a rainy morning walking around Wiesbaden, we wanted something to eat and ended up on the street with this restaurant. Before we settled, we checked all the places nearby on the next few streets and, unless you're ok with eggs and green sauce (and coming from Frankfurt, we're quite sick of that) there wasn't anything on offer at all.... We ate here twice and we're satisfied both times. The draft beer is professionally served with firm foam, the wine list is adequate for this type of restaurant. Service is top notch.
We had the opportunity of staying with family who lived here and said this was one of the best places in Wiesbaden. After eating here I would agree with their assessment. The service and food were excellent, as was the ambiance (we dined outside in a square in from of a large church). My wife and I both had the... More
Had dinner here on a week night. Restaurant was busy which was a good sign We were a party of 2 and both ordered fish. We were both happy. Fish was not over cooked Ate outside service was good
We went with a group of about 20. The food restaurant had been billed as typical German by our local co workers. It had a lovely beer garden atmosphere and lots of schnitzel type dishes but no veal. An Austrian in our group commented that only Austrian schnitzel is true schnitzel. Beers came quickly. I had the pork schnitzel which... More
Highly recommend calling for a reservation if you are going on the weekend. We had a 1830 RSVP and glad we did. When we arrived it was only my wife and I and another couple there. At 1845 the place was half full and by 1900 it was at full capacity. Even though it was full we still had great... More
I was here twice during the winter and it was awesome, no regrets at all. I can say that the specialities of this place are made with meat, but not only. The 'Schnitzel Wiener Art' is very good and you can associate it with a sauce and some potatoes or other mini-food that can accompany your meat. We tried also... More
This place is especially nice in the summer, when they've spilled out to the canopied space in the pedestrian walkway outside. The service is slightly indifferent, but the food is fine, and the people-watching outdoors is a treat.
