Good traditional german food

This was a really nice traditional german restaurant. Good specials and a menu that covered pizza, pasta, and schnitzel. But meat and more good meat. Waitress understood English and assisted with our menu selections. Blazing fast service mane me think it was fastfood. But no fastfood could be... read more

Some friends and I went to the restaurant after working on second shift, which ends at 10 o'clock. Hard to find anything own after that. I found this one on TripAdvisor. Nice atmosphere. I think we were served by one of the owners. There were 5 of us. Only 7 people in the restaurant total. We didn't have to wait... More

Nice, cosy atmosphere, attentive staff, generous portions of great food - just as I like it. Good choice in kids menu. Better to make reservation for after 5 pm meal. Also it has been really difficult around the restaurant without speaking German. English is not enough there.

The schnitzel is good and they have alot of varieties, the beer cold and the service is efficient but without personality. The XXL schnitzel is as big as a dinner plate, you have been warned! This is one of the few restaurants open late in the city center. There are alot of amazing restaurants in Kassel and this one wouldn't... More

2 full pages of schnitzel, I highly recomend....but if you do not speak any German, and if you do not have a good translator, you might have to just point and pray that you like your meal. I speak a little German and I had a good phone translator and was able to get he veal schnitzel with fries and... More

I like this place a lot. They offer lunchs or dinners at every hour, which is not so normal in Germany and which is great if you are doing some sightseeing. Steaks (schnitzel) are very good.the small one is more than enough and they aren't expensive at all. the normal one without sauce or the ones with mushrooms sauce (called... More

The servant was very friendly but another serving lady was less amical. You get your orders very quick. The price is very decent. The quantity is enough also for big eaters. It could have less salt. The Krusti (schnitzel, with speck and egg) tasted a little soapy. But the lamm, with baked vegetables and croquettes was very good. Between 11-17 the... More

Against my wishes, we visited this restaurant again with my German family. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the goulash soup, which was ok. Others ordered a schnitzel and some sort of hamburger steak dish. We all agreed food was better elsewhere despite the VERY crowded and apparently popular restaurant. What am I missing here? Ironically, we had the... More

Good choice of "fast food" and cosmopolitan . Staff polite friendly and eficient. If ordering something spicey then do remember to check the "chilli guide". Centrally located a good place to sit and watch everyone go by

The restaurant is just outside the pedestrian area of the top shopping street of Kassel. The atmosphere is cozy and nice. We had two 260 g very good schnitzels with salad , fries and two beers followed by chocolat mousse (this was not so good) for 25 euro. I suggest this restaurant.
