The servant was very friendly but another serving lady was less amical. You get your orders very quick. The price is very decent. The quantity is enough also for big eaters. It could have less salt. The Krusti (schnitzel, with speck and egg) tasted a little soapy. But the lamm, with baked vegetables and croquettes was very good. Between 11-17 the... More

Against my wishes, we visited this restaurant again with my German family. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the goulash soup, which was ok. Others ordered a schnitzel and some sort of hamburger steak dish. We all agreed food was better elsewhere despite the VERY crowded and apparently popular restaurant. What am I missing here? Ironically, we had the... More

Good choice of "fast food" and cosmopolitan . Staff polite friendly and eficient. If ordering something spicey then do remember to check the "chilli guide". Centrally located a good place to sit and watch everyone go by

The restaurant is just outside the pedestrian area of the top shopping street of Kassel. The atmosphere is cozy and nice. We had two 260 g very good schnitzels with salad , fries and two beers followed by chocolat mousse (this was not so good) for 25 euro. I suggest this restaurant.

Service was good, kids' menu was adequate and prices were very reasonable. Food was good with a huge choice of different schnitzels and sauces. Definitely recommend.

The quality of the food, though simple, is fine for the price you pay. Don't expect Japanese quality steaks, but the price is definitely good for the quality you get. Price for a main dish with 0.5l beer/softdrink goes from around €10 - €18. Staff has a Guttem Abend for you when you walk in. So much better then the... More

Excellent German cuisine with some of the best Schnitzel I've ever had, and I've both lived and travelled throughout much of Germany. Service is excellent, price is very reasonable and the atmosphere is warm and very German. Be prepared to wait during the weekend.

Fantastic food with lots of german specialties, very well cooked, reasonable prices and ultra-fast service! Highly recommended in such a sleepy town like Kassel!

This is not a great restaurant. It mainly serves (& is locally well-known for) breaded pork loin with a variety of different sauces... most made with with cream! & with chips/french fries & salad - all for something like £8 for the small size plate. (& believe me the small size is my/your normal size, the medium is too big,... More

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a relative. The menu had good choices and we opted for the cordon bleu schnitzel and a hamburger steak stuffed with feta cheese, it came with fries and a salad, reasonably priced at 8-10 Euros. The restaurant itself is cozy and comfortable. The location is a short walk from the city hall.... More
