Happened to visit this warm little restaurant a few days back for business lunch and must say that this is one impressive thai restaurant. The restaurant has a wonderful warm ambience, helped by wooden interiors enhancing its elegance. The staff waiting on us were warm and service was pretty fast (though there was no rush when we went in. So... More

You will find this restaurant in a little passage (Steinweg) right at Frankfurt Hauptwache. I only had heard of it from some friends. Restaurant is nice, typical thai. I guess for lunch time it gets really crowded since it´s in the centre of the city. I would recommend to go around 2 pm to have a relaxed lunch. We ordered... More

I found the menu a little limited. I don't know why they offer rump steak but miss some Thai classics. The bill was a little OTT for what we ate. That said, the service was very friendly. We sat outside so I cannot comment on whether it's too hot inside or not. My meal was enjoyable. I can recommend the... More

I am giving this one only 3 stars because I have been going here for about two years and my experience gets worse every time. The food is always good (although less spicy every time!), but the temperature inside is always REALLY HOT. Sweating hot. Service is often slow even for Germany. Pricing is about the same as the other... More

Very central and in a quiet passage not far from the main shopping area of Frankfurt. Decent food, not necessarily very refined but large portions. The 'hot' red curry wasn't actually that spicy but the chicken Gaeng Kua Gai was tasty (with pineapple and lychees). Curries come with rice so no need to order additional rice/noodles. Friendly service and a... More

I had a dinner here after a day of sightseeing. I enjoyed it very much. They had a large menu and good sized portions. The staff was very quick to serve and the food was tasty. The tables are very close together, but that did not bother me on this visit. It would if I was trying to have a... More

The tables are a bit close together, and it can get rather hot/stuffy. I liked the wooden carvings surrounding the walls. The service is decent (good by German standards). The food is not going to be the most authentic, but it's decent, and the portions are quite large.

Suvadee has become the classic place for Thai kitchen in the center heart of Frankfurt. Therefore during peak time reservation is recommended. Quality of food is good and everything you would expect from a Thai restaurant. At the risk of stating the obvious, ordering a-la-carte will give you both better quality and quantity compared to ordering from the daily menue.... More

Dear all, I have been to many thai restaurants where the food really taste of Thailand like some of you descibe it. BUT THIS IT NOT ONE OF THESE PLACES. LOCATION: Very good almost in the middle of the city centre next to the stock exchange. FOOD: ALL the food we had including soups, starters and mains very based on... More
