My sister and I ate here one night while visiting Frankfurt in early December. We did not have a reservation but were able to secure a table. I had a filet and it was good but have had better. My sister had the vegetarian dish and was disappointed.. Very bland. Expensive for what you get in my opinion.

We had the three course set menu. The portions were minute for the price but well put together. For example the starter was a few tiny slivers of raw trout for 16 euros. The absolute highlight was the chocolate desert as others have mentioned. If I lived in Frankfurt I would not be a regular. Its too expensive for what... More

Wow, this was a find. While at a trade fair in Frankfurt it was a joy to find a restaurant clearly not known to the messe fair crowds. Riz obviously attracts city types, and I can see why. The food was very creative, as evidenced by the menus which were not easy to understand but were helpfully explained. Beautifully presented... More

The food was so bad, the seats were tight. The waiter was confused. The worst part was the salad. The price was too high.

Even though they didn't have a menu in English (because according to the waiter, they'd changed the menu the day before we've been there), they'd provided us with helpful suggestions for starters, main dishes and desserts (which was just amazing!) The presentation of the dishes are just immpeccable; exquisit combinations but still very well seasoned food! Worth every cent!

My wife and I had an evening to spare and decided to try Riz for dinner. To no disappointment we enjoyed a fabulous dinner along with great service. We will definately return the next time we are here.....a must try for any one in the area!

Wow this place has improved big time, due to a new kitchen team, the food is probably on a level not to be matched in Frankfurt, everything excellent, great wine list, good service, will return again, after having not been there in a while,,, defiantly one to watch out for... Highly recommended....

Myself and my husband ate here 2 nights ago for our last night of a short holiday in Frankfurt. We took some time deciding where to eat as we wanted to have an enjoyable last evening. We completely ignored the 5 suggestions the concierge in our hotel gave us and decided to go with our instinct and the reviews we... More

Last year, i travelled to 28 countries and ate at a ridiculously large number of restaurants. From small kitchens in south Tirol to multi-mich star restaurants in france, Riz is one of my favorites. Trust the 5 course menu with a bottle of 2001 Chateau les Bouzigues Superior Reserve.
