once you enter the place you'll be knocked down by a staggering smell of coffee. This place reminded me of a cosy old cafe, where you can feel the history of the city, try delicious desserts and talk to the locals, habitués and other tourists. I must admit, their desserts and snacks are really descent. You can also buy coffee... More

In Germany everything is accurate. even their coffee is just how it should be. this unique place has a smell of coffee will make you automatically stop and have a cup of it even if you are not coffee drinker. they have many other items look yummy but I didn’t try any of them.

We stopped here after our overnight flight to Germany. The barista spoke English which made things easier. Friendly customers, locals who offered us help with directions. We ordered latte's and almond croissants. Everything delicious.

The coffee is not terrible, but also far from high quality. The black coffee I had tasted like it was made from old beans (I would guess at least six weeks off roast) not stored properly. The roast was also way too dark to let any kind of nuance, character, and complexity come through. It also looked like the coffee... More

We were eating lunch at a restaurant across the street from Kaffee Wackers and watched the long queue of local business people buying their coffees and drinking them at the outside tables or standing on the street. Must be good we thought so we went there rather than having coffee at the restaurant. Very efficient barista and we didn't have... More

As always when in Frankfurt I had a double expresso at Wackers. And again it was perfect, from service with a smile to the coffee itself - will definately come again ...

Not spectacular coffee, but warm, friendly, where locals hang out...and had a fabulous apple cake there. Went at 11:00 to meet friends, left at noon and there was a huge line waiting outside. Nice local spot, would return,

Despite being a Starbucks lover, i checked this place on TripAdvisor, and liked the reviews. It is really nice old fashion coffee shop. With the possibility to buy biscuits (short bread, amaretti, chocolate,...) and packs of coffee from around the world. We went there for a nice coffee and breakfast, place was busy, and service good. Price average. I would... More

It's no good to compare each coffee place to Starbucks, but Kaffee Wackers has become the first choice for a good cup of coffee in Frankfurt and all other chains ceased to exist. That good!
