I went to Rama V as the place was recommended by my hotel staff. The restaurant it self was quite nicely decorated but when it come for food taste, if you are Thai make sure you ask extra spicy plus ask for extra chili powder, fish sauce and lemon along with your dish as it might be quite tasteless. I... More

If you love Thai food, this is a must in Frankfurt! We didn't have a reservation but the staff made room for us. Rama V's decor is very warm and inviting and the staff were friendly and helpful with our food selections. Our meal was flavourful and very delicious and had just enough "heat"!! I would highly recomment Rama V!!

I was here a few years ago, and had a very good evening. But this time was completely different. As others have commented, the waiters have far to many tables, and run between them. Basically there's no service except for orders taken and food delivered. The food itself was nothing to write home about. As a starter we had the... More

Move away from this place... Ok, the food is good and somehow authentic however the place is the worst i have found... They play tge fancy note but the tables have been maximized to increase the number of clients that makes the atmosphere of a train station and each waithress need to cover a lot of tables therefore they are... Too expensive for what was offered, not quite the quality I would have expected after eating Thai food in Bangkok...great atmosphere and close to the Zeil and 2 minute walk from The Westin Grand Frankfurt and NH Hotel.

While the food here was good, I was appalled by the way the restaurant conducts business. I had dinner there yesterday with my sister and when the check came, I noticed a 2 Euro surcharge. When I asked what the surcharge was for, we were told that it was for the 2 glasses of tap water we were served. I'm... More

Recently invited a business guest to Rama V as he was into Thai food. Rama V was recommended by the hotel concierge as one of the better places to eat. I am sure that due to its proximity to the financial district many people come here, and also I am sure that many people enjoy the food there, however having... More

Next to our hotel so great location. During lunch on a Saturday not very busy, welcoming and accurate staff. Great food choice and rich taste. Reasonable price although €50,- for 2 persons 2 course meal including drinks is actually cheap. So really great value for money !

We were lucky to get a table on an average Thursday night and the food was very good. It initially appeared somewhat pricey, but the mains have rice included which doesn't normally happen in the UK, so worked out OK. I would have prefered it a little less hectic but definately worth a visit
