Great place!

We were 20 people from different companys visiting Holbeins. It was a very good experience. The building is beautiful and the food was great. It was possible for us to split the bill in 20 and pay once at a time. I will be back!

I was invited to a business dinner here but unfortunately I found the food rather bland. My halibut came with absolutely no sauce whatsoever and rather overcooked. Shame as I absolutely adore my halibut normally. There was some sort of hollaindaise on the white asparagus on the side but it did not really compliment the fish. I've given three stars... More

An unexpected invitation to Holbeins and what a surprise it was! We were lucky and found a parking space right in front of the main entrance. As you walk through the wrought iron gates you look upon the steps going up to the very high glass front that encloses the 'courtyard' between two buildings. Top of the steps is an... More

The restaurant is build is a space that was a courtyard of the museum. A ceiling has be built; there are access directly to the museum from the inside or the outside from the street. Food - Average menu choice and quality. Service - Fine. Price - A little expensive for the quality of the food, but fine because of... More

Most enjoyable dinner in a fabulous space. Food and wine selections all enjoyed by our group of three.

Great food and service. It's a beautiful restaurant. Good menu which is cooked to pretty much perfection. Wine list is also very good and a good mix of wine from many countries. Highly recommend this.

I must confess - I'm a big fan of Holbein's. A very simple reason: every time I go there, it's just delicious and service is fab. Last week, I visited the restaurant following a visit to the Städel museum. We could have eaten the entire menu - so tempting. We had sushi for starters and salmon in miso sauce for... More
