One of the best sushi I had

We came in without a reservation and were seated immediately. We received the menu and the pictorial menu. We decided upon the sushi menus, and they were really great. Good fish (and lots of it), and not alot of rice (what I really liked). The menu includes a salad (request the wasabi dressing... read more

Blown away by traditional Japanese simplicity and the homey charm of this authentic, family run restaurant... a rare gem and a great yet affordable escape... try the wasabi salad, it's a must!

The hard-boiled chef runs this small sushi restaurant with his wife. He is a hard-boiled guy but fish is quite fresh. Sushi with vinegared rice is good, however "Kansai-style chirashizushi" with special vinegerd rice is the best for me. And, I recommend you to focus on the atmospheres of the restaurant, for example their character (chef, his wife and his... More

We were at the Messe, so we just walked to the restaurant. All the staff at the restaurant were japanese and very friendly to us. We had freshest fish we ever had, very tasty! Also the rice, miso soup and seawees salad were amazing. It was worth the price and we were happy to have found it!

This is the best sushi in Frankfurt! I lived in Japan a long time think this is as real as it gets. The fish is fresh and awesome, miso is real and the family that owns and runs take tremedous pride, which is reflected in the service, presentation and taste. It is the the go to place for the Japanese... More

My partner was really exited to go to this restaurant, but shortly after we left he got really bad stomach cramps. He vomited on the pavement and had terrible diarrhea when we got home. I can't prove it was the fish, but needless to say I will never be going again.

I have already been there but I thought that maybe the waiter learnt something ( reading the reviews). I must admit that he did not. More arrogant than the last time. How could it be??? Sushi was ok, wasabi dessert was not spicy at all. I did not leave any cent extra.

Went there with two friends for dinner and had one of the best sushi / sashimi experiences of my life. The place is family run, without any fancy interior at all and a sole focus on serving fresh and delicious raw fish. Extremely nice atmosphere as well with the chef coming over from time to time joking around. Also, you... More

I love Japanese food and this restaurant is as good as anything I have eaten in Japan! That I spent nearly two hours there on my own says a lot about the atmosphere and friendliness. I will DEFINITELY return on my next trip to Frankfurt.

I never understand why and how this restaurant ranked top. We ordered sushi, sashimi and chirasi sushi. I'm a big fan of sushi and sashimi. Hum.. i'm sorry but none of the was good.. Only service was good but foods were not enough to be good. We wasted money.
