Came here based on a recommendation and was happy I did. Had the schnitzel and it was pretty good. The service was a little sparse, but I didn't mind as it was late afternoon and was expecting full service. Not sure I would go out of my way to go there again, but if it was convenient I would return.

Our first German pub experience was a great one. Service was friendly and standard for such a place. Beer was reasonably priced and the food... my god, if you still feel hungry after.... your crazy. Portion sizes were great! Value for money. We had the Pork knuckle, hand made cheese with a sort of pickled onion and the sausage soup.... More

We were in Frankfurt for one night, wanted to eat German food, an leib & seele was the only open restaurant at this time ( they tend to eat very early or we dine very late). And for our pleasure it was great. Cool place, music and atmosphere, very good food, big portions and a decent bill. If I ever... More

We were a group of 16 people. All of us enjoyed the traditional german sausages, grilled pork and other specialities. Nice and warm place. Enormous salads. Everything is very big.

Clearly a popular spot as we had to wait for a table... but the food was good, traditional, Frankfurt fare and, to me, reasonably priced for the large portions in comparison to other places in the city centre.

We were for one night only in frankfurt, and couldn t find any open restaurant to serve us german food, ( frankfurt is a city that sleeps early), until we were lead to leib & seele. We weren t dissapointed. Good food & mood, huge portions and friendly atmosphere. For a casual night out, i recommend this restaurant

In the heart of downtown Frankfurt, this unassuming restaurant has a lot to offer, mainly its sausage platter for two (really for three or four). An amazing array of yummy sausages with tasty sour kraut and sautéed potatoes on the side. The price is right, the atmosphere is fun, and the sausage platter to die for. You will not leave... More

Just love the food here! No matter at what time you arrive, it is always busy (also means for any party > 2 people it's worth to make a reservation) with a very casual atmosphere. Good value for money for a downtown location! Going there regularly :-)
