Amazing mushroom flatbread

The service was good and the outside patio was delightful. The mushroom flatbread was amazing!! Cold beer and good service made it a wonderful night. Did I say that the flatbread was amazing? The best thing I ate while in Germany.

This a cheap, typical german restaurant. Always full of local people, but the service is fast, and the quality is very good, to be german food ... :-), which has not so many different proposals, and is not so various (no fish here ... and salads only if you ask for it, they are not in the "default" menu). Many... More

This place for me it's a classic in the Frankfurt scene! I have the blessing to know the owners personally and they are a treasure! For me the Grüne Soße in this place is the best, the schnitzel and the unique flammkuchen with strawberries is a dream!

There are no shortage of "traditional" german food restaurants in Sachsenhausen, but Dauth-Schneider is a local mainstay and one you just have to visit. If the weather is good, sit outside and enjoy the great atmosphere. The food is good and the beer, German Quality and plentiful!

This is a restaurant to catch tourist they live from tourist and they are not interested in doing a fair und friendly job. They didn't serve us any drink when getting in as a bachelor party, and where so unpolite like I never saw before. ( We were not drunken and we were completly silent and a well society !

The food was amazing! I had schnitzel with the green frankfurter sauce and a few beers. Couldnt have asked for better, the wait staff were friendly and the food was on point.

Read the reviews from TA forum and without disappointment. We arrived in a sunny afternoon for lunch, sat at outdoor area. The young waitress speak good English and very friendly, explaining the dishes to us. We ordered schnitzel salad with green sauce, Eisbein, a boiled pork knuckles, an apfelwein pure and apfelwein with lemonade. Food is so delicious and in... More

We were walking around the old Sachsenhausen section of the city in search of a restaurant. The area is very nice, and the bridges over the Main river made a great photo opportunity. We came upon an area that had several adjacent restaurants that all looked to be crowded and friendly. The Dauth-Schneider seemed to be the most crowded, so... More

You now have to go to Sachsenhausen in Frankfurt to get the traditional German food that used to be served in all gasthauses. The meal we had at Dauth-Schneider brought back many old memories of the 1970's. Great kalbsnitzel, wonderful spargel with Hollandaise, and the best apple strudel I can remember ever having. Top that with a pint of a... More
