This was the first place I stopped to eat in Frankfurt, following TripAdvisors.. I took the famous sausage and some beer, of course. Great atmosphere, very nice service, good food and reasonable price. I'd certainly come back to try other Bavarian foods. Go hungry because the portions are huge!

Great beer, great food, great service. The hearty Bavarian meal that you crave is here at decent pricing. The atmosphere is nice with the alpine theme and the wait staff in Bavarian dress. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming and there is something for everyone. The spaetzle was delicious and you can't beat the sausages. If you don't want... More

The food is amazing here! I got the Jägerschnitzel and spaetzle, as well as apfelwein and their incredible tiramisu! I could have eaten that meal for the rest of my life, it was amazing. The portions are huge, you can definitely split them. The outdoor seating is beautiful in a little area in the shadow of a cathedral. The service... More

Called in here for some paulaner beer but food looked so good decided to stay for dinner. Usual Bavarian menu. Service excellent. Great night out.

For a long time I wondered if there was a part of Frankfurt where you could feel a bit more like in Munich. This is the place. The reviews I have read on this site are quite accurate from my experience. It's not the fanciest meal, but it's just plain good. If you like a Bavarian style menu, but you... More

Eating at a Bavarian restaurant can be a daunting experience, with very large portions of stodgy and over salted food to soak up the beer - So I was very pleased to be surprised by the genuinely decent food served at the Paulaner. I embraced the Bavarian menu by ordering the "sausage symphony" platter, and I'm glad to say it... More

This place looks like a typical tourist trap, but isn't really. Beer is good, service is OK (depending on how busy the restaurant is) and food is average. Price matches other tourist restaurants in Frankfurt, but I would rather go to other places though.

If you are looking for a sophisticated or romantic meal in Frankfurt, go elsewhere. However, if you are happy with filling, typically German gayer with decent beer, lively atmosphere and happy waitresses then this could be for you. Took some visitors from the Uk for an authentic German experience and they and we enjoyed it. Food was very hearty: sausages... More

I went there with my team. The waitress was very professional. She had this viral smile on her face that made us very comfortable. We ordered the usual sausages platter, I order everywhere in Frankfurt, for starters to share. It was very very good. She recommended thin crust pizza to share as well. It was gone a few mins as... I went to dinner here on a business trip with a group. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was served family style. Our Bavarian selections were so delicious. I couldn't get anything like this state side. This was actually my second visit and the first trip went just as well.
