Typical German food and atmosphere!

Lots of Germans eating here, not just tourists, so you know it will be good and authentic. Good selection of dishes and reasonable prices. We had the Paulaner Schlemmerpfaennchen (pork and beef in a pan with a creamy mushroom sauce). I asked for the croquettes instead of the spatzle, so we shared... read more

Dined there twice while in Frankfurt recently. The food , typically German , was simply delicious, the portions rather big, the staff efficient , fast and smiling and the prices quite reasonable. What else would u ask for? Tip: taste the ..glorious Appfelstrundel-u won't be disappointed.

We decided to have Traditional Bavarian Wiener schnitzel so we headed to Paulaner very close to the old town. We've been welcomed by warm friendly smile for the waiters, the place was so traditionally Bavarian style with the decorations, furniture and also the waiters customs. We ordered home made lemonade and pretzel with cream cheese and herbs as starter, salad... More

Partner and I read reviews on this establishment and decided to walk down for dinner, we ordered the sausage platter and a salad and two drinks , food was ok , home made lemonade tasted more like cordial however all this is acceptable, what is not is the rude blunt arrogant waitress staff. Reading through others reviews , these seems... More

I stopped in here one afternoon on a Frankfurt layover to enjoy a nice German beer and a snack. They have a wonderful selection of German fare as well as beer. I sat on the patio with a nice view of the adjacent cathedral while I enjoyed a Paulaner brew and a Pretzel with Bavarian cream cheese. It was a... More

Conveniently located next to St bartholomew cathedral, a great restaurant with indoor and outdoor section. Experience biergarten ambience, this place gets busier and crowded by the evening A bit understaffed Waitress too busy to take order and serve and dropped my bread onto the floor without knowing. She must be too busy and lack rest Food wise its perfect.

We had a delicious lunch at the restaurant. I had meat loaf in a cream sauce with chantilly mushrooms, roasted potatoes, and a side salad. My partner had a large salad with many fresh items, such as Swabian ravioli and chicken sate. We ate outside, but the inside space looked as equally inviting.

Nice outside tables in a calm small street behind the Dom. The service is friendly and the food is really good. I recommend the Frankfurter Schnitzel mit grüner Sauce, which is a very traditional dish from this region. The beer is also fine! Worthy a visit!

My boyfriend and I decided to eat here after seeing the great reviews on here. They have a great vegetarian selection, and the beers are reasonably priced with lots to choose from. My boyfriend opted for a Bavarian meat platter, the portion was huge and the food all very tasty. Similarly, my cheese noodles were filling and scrumptious. Our evening... More
