A bit out of the way but worth finding, we had a great meal here (Goose in December). A nice place to get hooked on Apfelwein and try typical German Food for the area. Communal tables might be a bit strange for some but once you are seated and settled in it was a very nice experience and we had... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant while walking through Frankfurt. The smells coming from the restaurant were great and it looked busy with locals (always a good sign in a foreign country), so we went in. I had the pork weiner schnitzel and he had the trout. Both were great. We also had this amazing apple dessert (can't... More

Very typical Frankfurt food served here. Communal table seating. They have English menus which helps a lot. Cash only so make sure not to rely on your credit cards. I would advise to at least do one of your meals in Frankfurt here to try the local fare.

The food here is really superb. The portions are large but of excellent quality like fresh local trout, superb juicy lamb, excellent salads. Reservations are necessary as this place is always well visited especially locals and you will even find lawyers, businessmen, etc eating here. Very casual ambience.

I chose this restaurant because I wanted to taste traditional german food, and this one was a great option because it is not so pricey (10-15 euros per person), the taste was amazing, there were only germans there, friendly staff and portions were huge! We tried the schnitzel with the green sauce and pork in some sort of wine sauce,... More

We chose this restaurant based on others' recommendations here on Trip Advisor. It has a patio and indoor bench seating that can be communal. It was a nice evening when we strolled in. But because of that there was no patio seating as it was all reserved by locals that know better and savvier travelers. That turned out to be... More

I went here on Wednesday after reading all the poistive feed back on Trip Advisor. Its a lot more laid back then I thought it would be. We did not have reservations made but Germany were playing in the Euros so it was'nt packed with people. But the waiter sat us at the top of a large table with six... More
