Met up with a few friends at Harouns before going to the cinema the other day. The service was incredibly friendly, the food good, and we got out in perfect time for the film. Try this restaurant if you are new to Darmstadt or just wanting to try something a bit different.

I had a dinner here and the place is very cozy, food was great and I would say that prices are reasonable. Moreover what is good about restaurant is very central location. Another good point that adds to the experience is stuff who is very welcoming and warm. I had great time here and I would return for sure.

Being going to Haroun’s for some years now. We’ve had company lunches there, Christmas dinners even. Always great! The restaurant itself is just the right size without being over expansive - service is top notch. Good choice of nice wines. Meat dishes suitably spiced. Harouns offers very enjoyable, Eastern Mediterranean food at fair prices. I have been there several times now, both for lunch and dinner. I enjoyed every meal. We go to Haroun's at least once a week in the lunch break. The place is very cosy and the food is delicous, it feels like home :) Haroun is always super nice, providing for a very nice atmosphere. Reserve before you go though, it's becoming quite popular and regularly full.

I ran accidentally in this arabic - turkish restaurant. It was fully booked but the owner found me a table. Even if he does not speak any english he was extremely kind. The felafel and doner kebab were delicious and cheap, and the dish so big! Worth a visit, but make sure to book in advance.
