I like the atmosphere at this restaurant. I was impressed by the choice of food and the possibility to have a light but still tasty dinner. I had the local typical "Rind" with green sauce. The potatoes and vegetables were very good too. I stated with the kraut soup, a very good choice. We had local beer Lichte which was... More

Nice german restaurant with cosy atmosphere. Would come here with guests who want to eat in a typical german setting with the average food that goes with it. Service is friendly and informal, maybe too. Prices are friendly.

A lovely rustic restaurant with low ceiling and wooden beams, laced curtains and blue-white flowered decorated china. The food was lovely - seasonal and fresh (I had the asparagus), dessert was also good. One thing though was quite the turn down: having so many people in one closed space creates a certain room temperture. No window was open and the... More

The restaurant where we return each November for its traditional goose menu, we have nothing better in town, so scrumptious and rich. If you manage to finish all courses, you are a champion, I bareky manage to get two spoons of the dessert :) The location is great, easy to reach and walking distance from our home.

this is what everybody has in mind when thinking about a german food and ambiance it is a little 'kitsch' but very appropriate in the context. The food is simple but great in its simplicity, very friendly staff. Bring a big appetite when eating there.

This is a jewel of a restaurant in the old town. It specializes in local dishes (Green Meat is a must), but has some creative and whimsical interpretations of other european cuisines. Try raw beef on rye toast. it's amazing. The menu goes on and on and is a work of art in German. A more modest version exists in... More
