Talk about having a great steak! This place surpassed our expectations. We got there early for dinner just after 6PM on a weeknight. Sheltered at the end of a dead end street right in front of the wholesale beef market in downtown Hamburg, it’s got that little restaurant charm with small quaint tables and comfortable booths with that classic old... The restaurant was created across several building, so the individual sites for the dining areas are on different levels and small. Make a reservation, otherwise this may be ending in disappointment. We had a reservation, but as it was only 2 of us, we were placed at a larger table with another group, which did not matter. Starters and main... More

An almost 'pub' atmosphere with exquisite meat dishes. Steaks on level we have not experienced elsewhere. This restaurant is full of character and the staff are efficient and friendly. Make sure that you are hungry and ready to enjoy a 'feast'.

We really enjoyed the food, however cramped conditions for all diners, seating arrangements very poor with the next table almost sitting with you

Palce is really fine, near old meat market in Hamburg. Not so easy to park the car in that area, but in the SCHLACHTERBÖRSE you can find some of the finest meat in Hamburg. Keep a place in your stomach for the dessert.

Ever, I think you can go there to normal times well we went after a big Reeperbahn tour and end ab there for breakfast. After breads with different toppings I had a nice juice steak. If you dont mind having you meal next to butcher boys with bloody apron, do it

Came here with some colleagues for a work dinner. Great atmosphere, love the pictures on the walls of previous diners, the giant bullhorns with the sombrero/cowboy hat...The food is excellent as well - had the delicious schnitzel, and my colleagues had steaks that looked divine. Apparently its right next to the abattoir so they get the best stuff!

This is the best place in town for steaks. Or any other kind of mean actually. It is located right next to the slaughter house. Historically, it was a late-night, early morning eatery for the local butchers - not the kind of crowd you want to serve poor meat to. Today, it is still an insider's dream, hidden away in... More

Very fine meats, close to the Messe, agreeable prices, excellent quality at affordable prices. This resturant is across the alley from central slaughterhouse, we had a 14 people to a very fine dinner.
