Very fine meats, close to the Messe, agreeable prices, excellent quality at affordable prices. This resturant is across the alley from central slaughterhouse, we had a 14 people to a very fine dinner.

My friend booked this restaurant which was recommended by a colleague, we arrived to a friendly reception. Service was very good and once the steaks were served we were in heaven. Soft heat tasting meat, lovely. Well worth the money and the beer was good. Will definitely come again.

as usual whenever I come and stay in hamburg the schlachterboerse is a must. due to its location (next to the hamburg abattoir) and the owners excellent contacts you will not find better meat (at least I haven't). the ambiente is very nice and rustique too. will always recommend!

We went there upon recommendation otherwise may not have the place anyhow. This is a small cosy restaurant close to the slaughter house. If you don't love meat you should look for another place - otherwise you will be in for a treat. The steak was cooked to perfection and the meat was of highest quality. The service was good... More

Together with a bunch of "old boys" I went to dinner here in June 2014. The restaurant looks more like a bar than a well reputed restaurant, very "rustic". It also took some doing to get a red wine served at 18C instead of the blistering "room temperature" of 25-26C. But service was very friendly. We all 8 ended up... More

This Restaurant has been one of my favourite steak restaurants. We were lucky to get a table for an early dinner on a Saturday evening (they are closed on Sundays). We were seated right away and ordered the Büsumer Shrimp Soup as a starter and of course some steaks for our main course. The food was cooked to perfection, the... More

Cool local place close to the meatpacking district. We bought both cote de boeuf and chateaubriand for the table. Wow! It was great for our table a lot of meat and nice side orders. The quality of the meat was great and the wine as well! The place it self is very cousy and relaxed for groups as well. Go... More

Really nice old restaurant with lots of history and a great selection of steaks (I recommend the entrecote and perhaps a tartare appetizer). Very nice selection of wines as well - a great spot overall. Wish I'd had saved room for dessert but that will have to wait until next time.

if you like the big steak this is your place, 500Gr of T-bone. the price is ok, just the list of wine it seems expensive. they have a really nice and big menu plenty of different choose of meat. I really recommend the t-bone or the fillet.
