We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant with my parents and the grown up kids. The service was excellent, if we had mentioned some concern or preference everyone remember when served the next course. The wine options matched the food well. I can definitely recommend the lobster and also the 'Scholle' (plaice?, sorry, don't know the english equivalent) The... More

It is not an honor for an animal to die to be eaten. But this restaurant shows respect to the fish. It's fresh, it's cooked as should be and it's presented well. If you have a fine nose you will smell it is a good fish restauran once you enter. If you have to wait that is maybe because other... More

Had some time to kill and asked the hotel where to go - this was their tip. Myself and a colleague took the train and headed off. It was way harder to find than our limited geography suggested ( may be just map challenged) and it was way more old school classy - formal, which means a lot in Germany.... More

We've dined here with friends, so two couples. We where guided to one of the tables with a view of the harbor. Magnificent view! Staff is friendly and advises without trying to sell the most expensive wines! In our case their advised whie was about 30 euros and fitted our courses very well! Food was top! Oisters as starters, followed... More

We were here for a business-related lunch in May 2014. The food was good but nothing special. The service was efficient and friendly. I was unpleasantly surprised when the potatoes which accompanied my dish were laced with lardons and bacon bits. Unpleasantly surprised because I cannot eat pork products. Since I was a guest at the meal, I did not... More

We went to dinner with our friends to this famous restaurant known for its traditional Fish courses. The food was good but not the best that we have had - maybe because we come from San Francisco and are used to excellent fish already, we were a little biased. However, for the cost of the food here, the service was... More

The food and service is always fine. And good weather permitting you can sit on a balcony at Watch the life in the habour. A huge cruiseship was nearby.
