Wonderful Fish Restaurant with a View!

On a recent visit to Hamburg, we had dinner at the Fischereihafen Restaurant and could not have been more pleased. Of course, we had fish (but there are non-fish items on the menu). Each of our dishes was beautifully prepared with rich flavors that did not overwhelm the fish. But what really... read more

This is an excellent restaurant, well patronised by well-dressed locals as well as tourists. Service is impeccable and the food was excellent. The restaurant verlooks the Elbe with its shipping traffic. This is an up market restaurant which is well worth a visit.

The restaurant looks upper-class, and looking the pictures of celebrities visiting in the Oysters-Bar, it definitely is. The waiters, the whole setting, everything looks like it would be an expensive meal. But the prices for lunch are more then reasonable. A first dis for some 7-10 €, the main dish for 13-16 €, and it really tastes fabulous. We had... More

This is with out question the best restaurant in Hamburg...the views over the Elbe river with the constant ship traffic going past make this a place to remember. The atmosphere is warm and very welcoming. All staff speak English and make your visit special in every way. Seafood is the central point of the menu but other things are on... More

It is always a pleasure to eat there and enjoy Hamburgs harbour or at least part of it. The Elbe river is, at this point, very busy, small and large ships pass by from around the globe. And the food is good also, especially seafood. The beer is great and beer is what goes best with Hering, Matjes, Eel (yes,... More

This place is really old-fashioned, with pictures of ships on the walls and photographs of the owner and various celebrities in the bar area. The food is similarly old fashioned with heavy French influences. This doesn't mean it isn't good. We had - Starters: *Dark bread (fresh and good) with some sort of buttery, creamy dip *Scallops, fried with chilli,... More

We were returning customers, and we always enjoy our lunches there. In the summertime one can eat outside on a balcony. Remember to make a reservation.
