Yummy! Well-done fusion!

We were invited as a business meeting & didn't order off the menu - we had a full tasting of lots of little dishes. Food was fabulous, comfortably decorated. Staff was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to returning and enjoying a whole meal ... to photograph and rate :)

The restaurant is very supercool, cozy and 100 % inspired by the colonial age in Asia. The servants is more of the finest and observant people I ever experienced. The menu card is Europe-Asia and the dishes are masterpeices to look at and very tasty. Would not call it an Asian restauarant, but the dishes are Asian inspired in a... More

Really enjoyed our dinner at Doc Chengs! The service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere, we felt like no one else was in the restaurant, but when we left, we realized how many other people were right next to us! Our food was delicious, great flavor combinations and excellent presentation. I do think the portions were on the... More

No complaints about quality, and this is an establishment of high repute. Don't expect Asian cuisine, but a fairly nicely done fusion or interpretation of it. No complaints, enjoyed the evening.

Every possible gastronomic base covered and conveniently located in the basement of the fabulous Vier Jahreszeiten hotel in Hamburg. They even had a 1952 Moët on the winelist. We go there whenever we are in Hamburg.

Doc Cheng's is located next to the Fairmont Hotel and has expensive and beautiful decorations. The food is good, but not fantastic... The service was okay, but the staff is a bit young and inexperienced. We had the surprise menu, and there was a lot of good flavors, but not at all surprising. We had a great table overlooking the... The restaurant itself is very beautiful, dark wood and dark red colors. Service is very stylish and correct, you see that the 'Vier Jahreszeiten' has included their best service also in this restaurant. Food is very good, fushion style with different flavors. Food is not cheap (cheaper compared to the other 2 restaurants in the hotel), but it is worth... More

Dinner last night with friends. Great service started with Andreas in the bar. He makes a great Negroni which pairs very well with the duck spring rolls btw. Dinner was excellent. Steak tartar was small but very flavorful. Iberico steak was great. Wine list....dont go for the first one. Ask for the good wine list. Some great bargains if you... More

We expected good sushi for a high ranked Restaurant in the category sushi. But this is more asian western fusion food with bad service. The sushi was terrible and not worth the money they charge. And then they try to serve expensive wine after pretending all normal priced are out, without telling you how real expensive the wine is. Be... More
